Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Duty Undying II Walkthrough

Duty Undying II is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Duty Undying II side mission.

• Starting Location: Tabor
• Quest Giver: Cyril
• Requirement: Unlocked during the ‘Back to their Origin‘ Main Quest after speaking with Jill. Must also have completed Duty Undying I side quest.
• Reward: 9600 XP, 1000 AP, 1500 Gil, 50 Renown, Curiosity: Clayhearth Signboard, 1 Orichalcum
• Quest Info: Cyril tells Clive that a high-ranking member of his order, the Third Chair, has gone missing in Ash on another of the Undying’s so-called “surveys.” He directs Clive to Mikkelburg, the acolyte’s last known location.

Objectives:

• Make for Mikkelburg
• Find the Third Chair
• Slay the echoes
• Deliver the Third Chair’s report to Cyril

Starting Location: Duty Undying II

Make for Mikkelburg

Fast travel to the Eistla obelisk on the eastern Ash continent and head south to find Mikkelburg. Interact with the door to reach the village.

Find the Third Chair

The Hooded Man can be found in the house at the rear of the village. Go through the door into the house to speak to him.

Slay the echoes

Kill all the enemies, including the powerful Titus enemy.

Deliver the Third Chair’s report to Cyril

You’ll be automatcally transported back to Tabor, so just walk forwards and enter the building to speak to Cyril.

This finishes Duty Undying II Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI).
