Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Caulk & Bawl Walkthrough

Caulk & Bawl is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Caulk & Bawl side mission.

• Requirement: Unlocked during ‘The Gathering Storm‘ Main Quest after speaking to Otto.
• Reward: 250 XP, 250 AP, 10 Renown, Accessory: Badge of Might +1
• Quest Info: Hideaway ferryman Obolus estimates his skiff will not last another fortnight before the Blighted water of Bennumere eats straight through its hull and condemns it to the lakebed. Fortunately, he knows exactly what the boat needs to avoid this grim fate … and exactly where Clive can find it.

Objectives:

• Slay thorny thistles at Coeurtail Falls
• Deliver the pitch to Obolus on the Hideaway docks

Starting Location: Caulk & Bawl

Slay thorny thistles at Coeurtail Falls

Fast travel to Three Reeds just north of the Hideaway, then head south-west to Coeurtail Falls. Kill the Thorny Thistle enemies and the Pitcher Wax will automatically be added to your inventory.

Deliver the pitch to Obolus on the Hideaway docks

Fast travel back to the Hideaway and speak to Obolus to complete this quest.
