Final Fantasy XVI has 31 Weapon Locations. Finding all weapons isn’t needed for any trophies. Only the Gotterdammerung is needed for trophy purposes. All other weapons become available for crafting and purchase from main quests and side quests. The required materials are from quest rewards and defeating Notorious Marks.
None of the weapons are missable, you can still get all of them in Free-Roam and via Stage Replay after the story. In the gear menu you can see which ones you’ve found. You can also still get them in New Game+. There are even stronger versions available in New Game+. Weapons can also be upgraded at the Blacksmith. The crafted +1 versions do 10 damage more than the bought “base version”. There are enough materials to craft every item in the game if you don’t sell anything.

Pulled The Royal Armguards out of the chest you flagged for Masamune found the sword slightly further on in the Angry Gap theres an area at the bottom looks like a stick with a ball on string its through a gap in a chest next to the Hand of Rhea

You forgot about Ragnarok. It is the second strongest sword at 325 damage during the first playthrough. It is available after completing the Blacksmith Blues IV side quest.

True, thanks for mentioning it, updated now! It was no longer in my inventory because I had crafted it into Gotterdammerung, that’s how I overlooked it.
