Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) All Eikon Abilities

June 21, 2023 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

Final Fantasy XVI features 7 different Eikons, each with its own skill tree. They are powerful combat abilities that recharge over time. More of them are gradually unlocked from main story progress. They all come automatically from the story and can’t be missed. You must fully upgrade all abilities for the “Masterclass” trophy which costs 118,400 Ability Points total. For Ability Points refer to Ability Points Farming Method.

You can find the Eikons in the “Abilities” Menu. To change which skills are actively equipped go to the “Gear & Eikons” Menu. Fully upgrading a skill allows it to be slotted to any other Eikon. For example, a fully upgraded Phoenix Skill can be slotted to a different Eikon.

You can have 3 Eikons equipped at the same time. Each has 2 ability slots for 6 abilities total. During combat you can cycle between them by pressing R2 while they recharge. Activate them with R2+Square / R2+Triangle.

Every ability has a Damage Rating & Stun Rating from 1-5, with 1 being the weakest and 5 being the strongest. Damage reduces the enemy’s health while Stun breaks the enemy’s will (the bar below health) to trigger a stagger.
