Man Eat Dog World is a Side Mission in Far Cry New Dawn that unlocks Timber as a Fang for Hire. This walkthrough shows you the Timber Location and how to complete this Quest.

Man Eat Dog World Starting Location
Objectives: Find the dog and pet it
You will find the dog in a bizarre area where dogs are being slaughtered and processed to food. Once there you will see 2 guys in front of a table with a dog on it. Kill them and head through the door left of them to find the dog.
Free the good boy from his cell and pet him.
Objectives: Find out what the dog wants and free his buddies
Timber will start showing you the way you are supposed to go. Just follow his lead. In the first section you go where Timber stands and destroy some wooden boards that block the path. Then Timber changes his position. Climb up the wall where Timber is, then walk across the pipe and climb up (Timber will show you the way from below). Now there are lots of dog cages in a big room, you must jump from the top of one cage to the next.
At the end of the parcour you will find the general cell key.
Pick it up and head back to where you found Timber. He simply wanted you to free his buddies before you leave. Once you have freed them pet the good boy once again and he will join your roster as a Gun for Hire / Fang for Hire.
This concludes the “Man Eat Dog World” Side Mission in Far Cry New Dawn and adds Timber as a companion.
This quest is bugged for me. Timber will not move at all when I pet him, and the mission won’t progress.
How can you get him back if he is killed?
Companions (including the dog) need a while to “recharge” when they have died. They can then be “equipped” / called again. So no worries, they cannot die permanently. It works like an ability cooldown period.
