Now That’s Entertainment is a main story mission in Far Cry New Dawn. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Now That’s Entertainment Main Quest.
- Punch the Machine
- Stash Your Weapons
- Follow Irwin
- Enter the Sewer Junction
Now That’s Entertainment Starting Location
This mission starts on a bridge far up in the north of the map, north of the Outpost “The Pantry” but south of the Outpost “The Island”. It’s worth noting that this is available during Act 1 and Act 2 already. The story will force you to do this in Act 3 at the latest as it’s mandatory to unlock the Act 3 Main Story Mission called Inside Job. It doesn’t matter when you do this mission.
Iwrin is the Highwayman you can trust apparently.
Good thing he looks super legit, or I might be concerned.
Looks like he wants you to win a melee tournament and whack a bunch of Highwaymen in the process.
Punch the Machine
Irwin has an old fashioned strength tester. Punch it to show you have what it takes to win the fight in the arena.
Shooting the head will not accomplish anything but waste ammunition.
Stash Your Weapons
Again, good thing he’s trustworthy, because this would be a hell of a trap. Interact with the yellow bag to stash all of your weapons.
Follow Irwin
Irwin will take the zipline down to the entrance to the Bonecrusher Pit. Jump on the zipline and follow.
Keep following as he leads you into the tunnels.
Enter the Sewer Junction
Eventually he will come to a stop, and a door will open for you in an iron gate. Enter the gate and follow the tunnel on the other side.
There is only one path, and eventually it will lead to the ladder out. Climb up and into the Bonecrusher Pit.
Talk to Irwin’s Assistant
There will be a child nearby who is trying to get your attention. Talk to them, then follow them to the fight.
Enter the Processing Room
Not as ominous as it might sound. You are assigned a fighting name for the arena, and you get a mighty one.
Reach the Pit
Head through the door and down the long fenced path which leads you to the arena. Pick up any medkits you need along the way and head towards the waypoint.
Enter the Pit
Eventually the door will slide open, revealing the dusty arena where you shall do battle. Hopefully you’ve taken the More Fist Damage perk once or twice already to make things easier, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Don’t forget that you have Irwin there to help you. From the sidelines. With moral support. Kind of.
Survive the First Round
Punch people. All the people.
And some dogs. In the face. A lot.
When you take down the first enemy with a melee weapon, be sure to pick it up. It’s better than nothing.
Survive the Second Round
Later when enemies come in with better melee weapons, kill them first then grab their weapon.
There will be more people with weapons and more dogs in the second round. Plus more instances of multiple people trying to beat on you at once.
If people are charging at you from a distance, you can hold the melee button to wind up your hit and do more damage.
Then if multiple people are headed towards you, you can back away as the second guy swings, charge your swing again then step in before he can swing again.
Watch out for wild boars in the second round. They will charge you if you’re too close, but if you get out of the way you can often make enemies fight each other and make your life easy.
My momma always told me that the best way to win a one on one fight is to be the third guy to arrive.
Survive the Third Round
This time, the edges of the arena are lit on fire, just to make things interesting.
Defeat the Champion
After a few goons are downed, the reigning champion will zipline into the arena. He’s an Elite Highwayman, and even though he still only uses a melee weapon, he has a major advantage in his shield.
He will use it to block just about any frontal assault. Try to hit him just after he swings at you by stepping to his left or right so that you can strike behind the shield. After enough hits the shield will be destroyed and your life will be much simpler. Keep an eye on your life bar, running away to heal when it gets too low, and you should be fine. Just keep running in circles until your health has recharged, annoying but effective.
Kneel Before the Crowd
Go to the waypoint and crouch down to show your thanks to the crowd for cheering you on.
Leave the Pit
Follow the waypoint to the exit and drop back down into the tunnels.
Talk to Irwin
Follow the tunnel until you are back outside, then head back up to the bridge to talk with Irwin. He tells you that he’s going to set up the next part of his plan and will let you know when it’s ready, which will happen in Act 3.
Take Back Your Gear
Go back to the yellow duffel bag and pick up all your gear to end the mission.
This concludes the “Now That’s Entertainment” main mission in Far Cry New Dawn. Even though you could do this mission at any point of Act 1 or Act 2, the game will force you to do this in Act 3 at the latest as it’s mandatory for the Act 3 story mission “Inside Job“.

Thanks. Just what I needed to know, in possibly the easiest format too.

What is really surprising about this game is the sheer number of people found just wandering about, day and night, even after a nuclear war and with loads of savage animals lurking in the undergrowth.
