Far Cry 6 Surgical Strike Walkthrough

Surgical Strike is a Main Story Quest (Operation) in Far Cry 6. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Surgical Strike main mission.

Mission Info: That Yanqui’s operacion produces that poison. It needs to end. His pipeline has soft spots we can hit at its substations. Each one has yellow poison silos that are vulnerable. Destroy enough, and it will be catastrophic.

Objectives:

• Destroy the poison production sub-stations
• Reach McKay’s chemical plant
• Access the computer
• Protect the computer while Yelena hacks the refinery system
• Hijack the control panels on the basin platforms
• Destroy the Toxiflo Reactant Ultrafiltration Downstream Osmometer

Starting Location: Surgical Strike

Surgical Strike is an operation available at Cardoso Mill in La Joya, El Este after completing “Tourist Trap“. It can be started by talking to Lucky Mama.

Destroy the poison production sub-stations

You will need to follow the pipeline that leads through Dorada Cove and destroy any switches, valves or yellow tanks at four of the eight sub-stations along the way to cripple the pipeline. After destroying four of them, the remaining four will be destroyed automatically. There will be no mission markers for these until you get close to a sub-station. You can destroy them either by shooting the valves first and lastly the yellow tanks, or by interacting with the switches to have them blow up this way. The former is preferable as some switches are locked behind the sub-station offices that may require keycards to access.

The pipes will be yellow lines on your mini-map, and sub-stations will show up as mission markers when you get close to them. While you will only need to destroy four, locations for all eight will be listed.

The first sub-station is directly across the road from your starting point.

Follow the pipeline east to the second sub-station.

Stop following the pipeline for a bit and head several hundred metres to the east to find the third sub-station at the La Joya Refinery.

Follow the pipeline north-east to find the fourth sub-station by the water. The valves here will be under the water.

Follow the pipeline back west to find the fifth sub-station.

Continue along the pipeline to the west for the sixth sub-station.

Follow the pipeline to the northwest for the seventh sub-station by the Bardia Reservoir.

Continue north-east to find the final sub-station.

Reach McKay’s chemical plant

Once you’ve destroyed four of the sub-stations, you’ll be able to continue on to the chemical plant. Head to the mission marker west of the Bardia Reservoir.

Access the computer

Head to the control room in the middle of the area and interact with the computer.

Protect the computer while Yelena hacks the refinery system

You will have to defend the computer while Yelena hacks, but if you’ve killed everyone in area already this will end immediately.

Hijack the control panels on the basin platforms

There are four panels to interact with around the chemical plant, they are all marked. When interacting with one it will take about 30-60 seconds for the basin to overflow and enemies can disrupt the process, so simply do them one at a time and kill any enemies that try and interact with the panel.

Destroy the Toxiflo Reactant Ultrafiltration Downstream Osmometer

Once the basins are destroyed, head into the warehouse via the door Lucky Mama opens. To destroy the Toxiflo Reactant Ultrafiltration Downstream Osmometer, you will need to destroy a dozen yellow valves in the warehouse, just like with the sub-stations previously.
