Far Cry 5 – The Hero’s Journey Side Mission Walkthrough

The Hero’s Journey is a Side Quest in Far Cry 5. This walkthrough shows how to complete this Quest.

Requirement: Complete Side Mission Free Larry, Grapple perk unlocked.

Larry has another job for you, and again it’s pretty weird. This time, Larry wants to destroy all the “listening devices” on PurpleTop Telecom Tower and he needs you to do it.

If you’ve already been to PurpleTop Telecom Tower, you will find that your fast travel ability has been disabled. You will have to travel there the old fashioned way, and when you arrive you’ll find a bunch of peggies waiting for you. Kill them, and start to climb the tower. There are a total of 5 satellite dishes (or “listening devices” as Larry calls them) that you will have to destroy, but only 2 will be accessible without Larry’s help.

Get to the top of the tower and he will arrive in a chopper to help you. Grapple to the chopper’s skid, and climb up into the compartment to have a nice stable platform to shoot the remaining three dishes. Destroy all three, and Larry will fly you back to his place where you’ll find a peggie attack in progress! Kill all the cultists to let Larry land, and your mission will be complete.
