Ragnar the Terrible is a Side Quest in Far Cry 5. This walkthrough shows how to complete this Quest.
Region: Henbane River (Faiths’s Region)
Area: Drubman Marina
Quest Giver: Female Resistance Fighter
Requirement: Liberate Drubman Marina
Reward: 100RP & 825$
Objectives:
- Reach the Location
- Find a fishing rod
- Catch the albino paddlefish
After liberating the Marina, talk to female soldier in the area near the docks. She will have a Side Mission for you.
She wants to you to catch Ragnar the Terrible, which is a fish. Take a boat and head to the area marked on your map. The mission will want you to pick up a fishing rod, but you can just replace it with your probably better rod afterwards in order to make catching the fish easier. Once you have caught the fish the quest will be over.

Its a lot more involved than just “catching ragnar”. When your line changes colour from green to orange, let the fish play on ur line. when the line changes to green again, start to reel. will take a bit to complete and you will most definately need a better rod than the basic (and also take King Fisher perk as well).

Knowing which bait to use would help, or if no special bat is required, that would be a useful tidbit also.
And I found the Hybrid Sturgeon bait worked. After I tried different baits and caught 12 other fish!
