False Prophet is a Story Mission in Far Cry 5. This walkthrough shows how to complete this Quest.
- Reach the Father statue
- Destroy the statue
- Enter the statue
- Reach the top floor
- Burn Joseph Seed’s Book
After finishing the first Story Mission in Faith’s Region you will be able to talk to multiple NPCs in Hope County Jail to unlock more Story Mission. While talking to Tracey you will unlock the False Prophet Mission.
Tracey will ask you to destroy the big Father statue you have seen at the beginning of the game. Head to the area marked on your map.
Use a helicopter to destroy the statue super quick, shooting at each part of the statue individually. Once you have destroyed all the parts, you will be told to enter the statue. Land your helicopter, kill the enemies around the area and do what you were asked to do.
On your way to the top, you will have to climb your way up using ladders ledges. Use the yellow buttons you will see to release a ladder twice. You will be attacked by helicopters twice, you can, however, find a RPG on the second floor, which will help you with taking down the choppers faster.
Once you reach the top, get closer to the book you see and you will burn it in a cutscene and finish the quest.

Not helpful. I cannot figure out how to enter the statue. Doors are locked I see nothing to climb. I figured this would walk through that
Matt says
Never mind I figured it out. It was a bug also for those who do the peaches mission if it bugs and you cannot talk to the lady to start the mission. Just save, quit, and reload.
Brandon says
You can also trigger the mission by shooting rockets at the statue without having to talk to anyone

Same here all doors are locked. I am playing on the ps4 and have never experienced a game with so many bugs. I find the game a real let down. Vehicle controls are so unrealistic and the storyline is naff. Enjoyed other far cry games except this one and primal.

Yeah, I have the same feelings.I loved Far Cry 4, played it all the way through three time. Even when 5 isn’t buggy, it all feels like drudgery. I do like the Arcade system… even though, for all intents and purposes, that was in Far Cry 4 as well.

All my storyline missions in canceled by themselves, Faith Seed just drugged me and took me directly to the end mission. I didn’t do any of the Story Missions it’s stupid. I was trying to take my time with the story missions and tried finishing all the side missions, it won’t let me because you just keep getting hunted by the Seed Family…
