Far Cry 5 – False Idols Side Mission Walkthrough

False Idols is a Side Quest in Far Cry 5, in Faith’s Region. In it you must find all 16 Shrine Locations and destroy them.

Region: Henbane River (Faith’s Region)
Area: All over Faith’s Region
Quest Giver: Given over the radio after destroying a few shrines on your own
Requirement: Destroy a few shrines in Faith’s region
Reward: 200 RP & $1600

There are 16 Shrine Structures to be found within Faith’s Region (they are not in any other regions). The fastest way to destroy them is with an attack helicopter by flying from one location to the next. Each shrine has an explosive bliss container on its front side. Shooting this container a few times (or throwing some explosives at it) will blow up the whole shrine. There are usually 1-4 enemies near the shrine, often one of them is a boss enemy.
