Exodus is a Side Quest in Far Cry 5. This walkthrough shows how to complete this Quest.

Once the Lamb of God Church is liberated, you’ll find an NPC mission giver in the area who tells you about some of their friends who are about to be forcibly baptized into Eden’s Gate.
Follow the path behind the church to find a cliff overlooking a dock and Lamb of God Sacristy, a small group of buildings by the river below. The cliff you start on is a perfect spot for sniping if you’ve got a silenced weapon, but be careful how you take out the enemies. If you alert them before you have eliminated all of the cultists, they will start killing the hostages and your mission will fail. If you’ve already gotten Boomer from Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm, it will make this much easier, as he will tag enemies automatically making them much easier to keep track of as they move through the trees and beneath the cliff below.

There will be two cultists off to the left near the small church, there will be one more below you patrolling below the cliff to the right, and two more by the water’s edge. Using a rock, lure the enemy below you on the right even further to the right, preferably into some tall grass. Snipe him when he’s in a good place that his body won’t be seen. Next deal with the two on the left. Snipe the furthest peggie when he’s as far away from the other cultist as possible, then kill the closer cultist. Work quick and don’t miss, because the first hostage is very close to him. Once all the other peggies are dead, approach the two by the lakeside carefully. I’d recommend taking them out with a takedown for maximum stealth, but a silenced pistol will also work wonders.

Once all of the peggies are dead, free all of the hostages (I don’t recommend freeing them until the area is clear, because they can easily draw attention and spoil your approach), and pile them into a boat at the nearby dock. Travel a ways down the river as far as you can towards the waypoint, then get out and walk south a short distance on foot to a camp. Drop off the resistance members there safely and your mission will be complete.
