Introduction

Welcome to the Far Cry 5: Dead Living Zombies DLC Trophy Guide! The final piece of DLC set’s the player right in the middle of movie-producer Guy Marvel’s crazy ideas, as he pitches them to unwilling actors and producers.

Step 1: Play all Movie Pitches

In order to unlock the Score Attack mode, all Movie Pitches have to be played and completed once. This is a good way to get rid of the four miscellaneous trophies tied to the Levels.

:bronze: Killer BeeZ
:bronze: ReZolution

Step 2: Get Gold Medals in Score Attack Mode

Now that you have become an expert on the layout and objectives of the seven Movies, it’s time to go for the best possible scores.
Playing in coop is optional but helpful – some maps prove to be quite tough solo.

Step 3: Get 5.000 kills

Now, it is time to grind some more kills for this (most likely) last trophy.

DLC: Zombies: FertiliZer
Kill 10 Gougers or Hot Heads with the tractor in Fields of Terror.
Fields of Terror is the first out of seven Movie Pitches.
For this trophy, once you gain control, you want to run a bit ahead to the opening of the field, where to zombies are feasting:

Then run up the path to the left side. There is going to be a tractor near the end of the way.

Get in :square: and start squashing whatever comes your way.

There will always be more zombies spawning, don’t worry about running out of eligible victims.
DLC: Zombies: Early ExZit Denied
Try to escape the bridge early in Burned Bridges.
Burned Bridges is the second out of seven Movie Pitches.
Shortly after the start of the Level, you have to go through two gates and across some tracks to get on the other lanes of the bridge, which are located to the right from where you started.
There will be a yellow School Bus located on the right side.

On top of it, there is an opening in the fence.

Climb on top of it and jump through it.

This will give you the trophy, but put you right back into the action. No escape here!

DLC: Zombies: Blood Zragon
Kill the Blood Dragon in Killer Climate.
Killer Climate is the fifth out of seven Movie Pitches.
The Blood Dragon is the Boss Fight of this level, there is no way to miss it.
Once you are in the final area, it will spawn.

In the middle of the area on some freshly spawned ammo-crates, there is going to be a grenade-launcher which comes in pretty handy here.

After about four to five hits, it will go down and net you this trophy.
DLC: Zombies: Killer BeeZ
Destroy all the Zom-bee nests in Laboratory of the Dead.
Laboratory of the Dead is the final out of seven Movie Pitches.
There is a total of seven bee-hives you have to destroy for this trophy. But don’t worry, they are all in the same place!
Get on your jet-ski and follow along the river, until you see the pipeline depicted below (Guy Marvel will also start talking about bees there.)

Once you are there, simply shoot all seven hives.

There is also a zombie-bear in the area that can be a bit annoying; you might want to deal with him first.
DLC: Zombies: ReZolution
Complete all 7 movie pitches.
For this trophy, you simply have to play through all seven Movie Pitches. They don’t have any checkpoints; so if you die, you have to restart. Luckily, they take less than 10 minutes, once you know what to do and where to go.

Playing through all seven is required to unlock their Score Attack Versions as well. Think about your first runs as a sort of a test and to get your bearings.
DLC: Zombies: DeceaZed to ExZist
Kill 5000 total Gougers, Hot Heads, or Behemoths in any mode.
This trophy is self-explanatory. Once you have killed a total of 5.000 zombies of any kind across all Movies and Game Modes, this trophy will pop.
Unfortunately, there are no statistics about your kill-count, so you just have to continue until this trophy pops.
To grind the remaining kills, you can choose pretty much any Level you liked the most.
Levels 1, 2 & 7 work quite well, in Normal and Score Attack.
Levels 3 & 4 feature some Human enemies in Normal Mode, which don’t count. In Score Attack, Level 4 has no Humans.
Level 5 features a lot of animals in Normal, which don’t count either. In Score Attack, there are fewer animals.
Level 6 is the shortest Level, but because of the car chase, you won’t kill that many here.It’s not easy to keep count of the total enemies in a Level, but my favourite Level 2, Burned Bridges, has about 125 enemies in it (if you shut down the Mutation Station quickly).
DLC: Zombies: Gold MedaliZt
Get a gold medal in all 7 movie pitches in Score Attack.
To be able to play the Movie Pitches in Score Attack Mode, you have to complete them once on the “regular Play Mode”.

Here is a table of the different Movies and their respective Gold Medal (Three Stars) score requirements.

Things that count towards your total Score:

  • Hits
    • Body Shots
    • Headshots
    • Behemoth Weakspots (the big ones; not featured in all Levels)
  • Kills
    • Gougers (regular “Runners”)
    • Hot Heads (the ones with glowing heads, which only can be killed with headshots)
    • Behemoths (the big ones; not featured in all Levels)
    • Animals (wolves, wolverines, bears & moose; not featured in all Levels)
    • Humans (not featured in all Levels)
    • Mutation Station Capsules (the yellow things you have to shoot in order to proceed in most Levels)
  • Completion Bonus (if you die, you still get points)
  • Time Bonus (time you had left will transform into Points – this is where the big points can be made, try to be as fast as possible)

Getting one or two stars in the Levels will give you three Instant Heals :right: and Instant Reloads :left: respectively. So, if you struggle to get three stars on your first try, these perks will come in handy.

Levels 4 & 7 can prove to be quite hard when playing on your own. You might want to try them in coop. The enemies get a lot tougher, but teamwork always does the trick. And reviving each other can help immensely. If you die while playing solo, it’s over immediately.

Levels 1-3 work exactly as their regular counterparts – no real alterations here. Just try to finish the objective as fast as possible, while racking up a good amount of kills (headshots preferably).
Level 4 is a bit different than the normal version. The waves with the turret, the nasty wolverines and the humans in the end are not present in Score Attack. However, there will be 3 Behemoths spawning in the end, once all other zombies are gone. They will spawn from a room to the very other side you start on. There is a locked blue door which opens shortly before they come through. Make sure to pick up the proximity mine and the grenade launcher from the crates. Throw the mine into the room, once the door has opened and have an eye for the room they come out from, while fighting off the last zombies. Once they spawn, the mine should explode and you should fire a round or two with your grenade launcher. If one Behemoth explodes while close to his friends, they will all go down and the potential tough fight in the end of this Level can be avoided alltogether.
Level 5 has a bit of a change in terms of it’s “inhabitants”. There will be less animals and more zombies around. The rest of the Level is quite the same.
Level 6‘s beginning is a bit different than the Normal Mode, as you start with powerful guns and can blast your way to the car. Weirdly, you have more time in Score Attack than in the Normal Version (which was the only time-limited pitch). There will be a few Mutation Stations along the way while driving, which you can use to rack up a few points.
Level 7 starts directly at the entrance to the bunker/lab – no jetski-riding needed here. There will be a few nasty Behemoths on your way until you reach the weapon chamber. Get anything you feel comfortable with (heavy machine guns are never wrong) and prepare for the last bigger wave including some Behemoths around the final big Mutation Station. Generally in this level – if you feel you are about to be overrun, go back the corridors a bit. If you make it through a door, all zombies should run towards you in a nearly straight line, making it easier to rack up a few headshots.

  1. The Gold Medals “guide” isn’t really a guide… you don’t explain how to do it, just say what gives you points. Every level is completely different.

  4. After doing 6 solo in 5 hours of attempts, I helped a friend co-op and we did every single one first time. It is CONSIDERABLY easier with a friend in co-op.

    • As there are no statistics about the kill-count whatsoever, I don’t have an answer for you. :/
      I hope that everything is tracked, even if you die.

      The only confirmation could be, if someone dies, restarts the level and gets the trophy very early on (before he died last time). That would be an indicator, that everything is tracked.
      Maybe someone can confirm this at some point 🙂

  8. Some tips for killing 5000 zombies:
    In the 1st level, drive the tractor to the very end of the level(a barn), and the barn has a backdoor, which is quite small door only let 1 or 2 zombies come out. Stay in the tractor and just near the backdoor, when zombie respawn, they will see you and run directly to the chainsaw of the tractor. And you can just relax and have fun while doing this trophy

    • I’ve been trying to grind this out on a PS4 copy of the game. Do you know approximately how long this took you? I still haven’t gotten it yet. Glad to know that I’m not the only one who has tried it this way yet though!

    • I don’t know if y’all were still curious, but the tractor trick DOES work to get the trophy, it just takes a LONG time. I estimated that by sitting by that back door you can kill about 15 zombies a minute, so about 900 an hour… almost six hours in total of just sitting there by that door. My advice, get that tractor sitting there and go do something else for a while.

  21. The scoring system in the game is total b.s. Kill a large group of zombies with an explosive (say 10 or 15) and only get credit for about 5 kills. (Also, it seems the explosives are really not all that powerful.) Not all zombies that die after they run through a lit up Hot Head fire give credit when they die.

    Right now, been playing Undying Love, and the game has been ripping me off left and right over kills.

    I know, the usual b.s. response: “Git gud!” I am pretty good, and still getting ripped off on scoring. Ubisoft needs to make the scoring system work better. I go through, kill a large number of zombies, try to make it in decent time, and still end up coming up short. The time bonus seems pretty lame. The bonus for hitting a Behemoth’s weak spot is also bupkis, and not worth wasting time on…again, time is another crap bonus score.
