Far Cry 5 – Close Encounters Side Mission Walkthrough

Close Encounters is a Side Mission in Far Cry 5. This walkthrough shows how to complete this Quest.

Larry needs one more thing to finish his experiments, and that’s glowing alien objects from the nearby crop circle.

There are four objects scattered within the search zone at Bradbury Farm. At night, they glow with a bright greenish tinge, making them somewhat easier to spot at a distance. Also, you’ll know you’re getting close when you hear a strange pulsing hum. When you get even closer, you will get a waypoint that will lead you directly to them.

Their locations are:

1. On the southeast side of the crop circle, you’ll see a few cultists loading some dead cows into crates. Beneath one of them is the object.
   
2. At the very top of the tall silo at Bradbury Farm. The only way up to the top is inaccessible from the ground, but there are two shorter silos nearby that you can jump from, pictured below. The westernmost silo has a ladder. Jump from it to the shorter silo next to it, then from there to the platform halfway up the tall silo’s side. Climb up the ladder, then once inside, jump up to the level above you where you’ll find a second ladder to the top. The alien object is inside an eagle’s nest at the very top of the silo. Be careful, the eagle will attack you to defend its nest!
   
3. The third object is a little trickier to get, as it will be carried by a dog who will run away from you as you get closer. Shoot him a bit and he’ll drop the object and run away.
   
4. The fourth and final object is being guarded by a large number of turkeys on the west side of the crop circle.
   

With the last object gathered, your mission will be complete.
