There are a total of 12 comic book collectible locations in Far Cry 5. You can unlock a map for them by triggering Golden Age Nostalgia side mission. Then a comic book map can be bought for $1200 from any shop. It will mark their locations on the world map. See the quest giver’s location below:

Nadine Abercrombie wants something to remember her grandfather by, so she’s sending you out looking for his comic book collection that he sold years ago. Once you have the Golden Age Nostalgia side mission, go to any store and check the items section to purchase the Map of Nadine’s Comic Books item for $1200 to show all of their locations on your map, though it can be difficult to find them all among all the other icons.
1. Holland Valley – Parker Laboratories (Mars Comic)
Find this comic on Larry Parker’s desk just inside his trailer door.

2. Holland Valley – Boyd Residence (Vietnam Comic)
Inside the house, on the bed near a compound bow.

3. Holland Valley – Bradbury Farm (Mars Comic)
This comic will be inside the older looking barn to the east of the silo (on your right if you fast travel to this location). Climb up to the barn’s loft to find this comic on a mattress on the floor.

4. Whitetail Mountains – Peaches Taxidermy (Zombie Comic)

5. Whitetail Mountains – Jefferson Lookout Tower (Zombie Comic)
You’ll find the Jefferson Lookout Tower above the Whitetail Park Visitor Center, at the end of a long winding road. The comic will be inside on a table next to a pile of cash.

6. Whitetail Mountains – McNeill Residence (Vietnam Comic)
Go around to the back of the house, and you’ll find a window that has been boarded up. Smash it with a melee weapon (or explosives) and go inside.

Go past the creepy dead dog cages and into the next room. Immediately turn left, then left again into the bathroom. The comic will be on the bathroom counter next to the sink.

7. Whitetail Mountains – Elliot Residence (Zombie Comic)
Go around to the back of the house, stand on the porch and look up at the second floor where “Resist Jacob” is painted. You’ll see that the barbed wire around this section is missing, allowing you to climb up on the eaves.

Climb through the second floor window and turn left, and you’ll find the comic on top of a stack of footlockers.

8. Henbane River – Chan Residence (Vietnam Comic)
The Chan Residence is a log cabin on the south slope of Angela’s Peak. Just inside the door is a bed, with the comic on top.

9. Henbane River – Vasquez Residence (Vietnam Comic)
This comic is inside the house on a leather couch.

10. Henbane River – Camp Cougars (Mars Comic)
You’ll find this campsite in the woods southeast of Peaches Taxidermy, and the comic will be next to an orange and grey tent, on the ground.

11. Henbane River – Boshaw Manor (Mars Comic)
This comic is in the bedroom of the trailer, on the bedside table.

12. Henbane River – O’Hara’s Haunted House (Zombie Comic)
Climb up the wooden crate next to the house to get on the roof, then drop down to the scaffolding in front of the attic window. Inside you’ll find the comic on a mattress.
