Introduction

Welcome to the FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Trophy Guide! An HD port of a mobile game from 2021 that captures the feel of old school JRPGs from times long past, now with voice acting! Join Leo as he tries to save his world from the Mechteria alongside a colorful cast of characters.

Step 1: Complete the Game

While you’re working on completing the game, you’ll want to unlock at least 50 chests and complete at least 10 side quests. It’s highly recommended to do all the quests even though you’re only required to do 10 as you’ll get useful gear and upgrades that will make the game a lot easier.

Once you reach the final save point at the Summit of Zero, make a manual save as you don’t get to make a clear save after finishing the game. While you will have an autosave before the boss fight, it’s possible to accidentally overwrite it by starting a new game or loading a different save, so better to be safe.

Step 2: Regular New Game Clean Up

After clearing the game, you can load your save before the final boss and clean up any quests, locked chests, or miscellaneous tasks before starting New Game+. Once you’re ready to start New Game+, go to the altar in Shangri-La and activate it.

Step 3: New Game+

On New Game+, you’ll want to focus on getting to level 99 and maxing out your Growth Maps (Skill Trees) as much as possible, including the new Growth Maps that unlock when clearing the first one, to prepare for the Void Realm (Endgame Dungeon). Clearing the Void Realm in New Game+ is significantly easier than trying to do it in regular New Game, and it’s unreasonable to reach level 99 on the first playthrough.

It’s also recommended to open all the chests again, as each time you open a chest, there is a 25% chance to get an SP Capsule. You’ll also be able to sell Growth Map upgrade items at the computer outside of Bernard’s Laboratory in the Hidden Valley for 5 SP Capsules. The reason you want to do this is once you hit level 65, you no longer get SP from leveling, so your only source of SP will be from SP Capsules, which you’ll need to invest in the second Growth Map.

You can also hold :x: to speed through dialogue to make your New Game+ run faster.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Trophy Guide The beginning of the adventure
Defeated a monster for the first time.
Bronze
Story-related and cannot be missed.
FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Trophy Guide Pinnacle
Reached level 99.
Gold
Once you beat the game, you’ll be sitting at around level 50 to 60, depending on how much content you cleared and how many enemies you defeated. Grinding to level 99 in the first playthrough is nearly impossible with how low level everything will be and the diminishing returns on experience, so you’ll want to start New Game+ as all the enemies will increase in level, which will let you earn more experience.

During New Game+, you’ll want to equip the Unfamiliar Stone on Leo so you get double experience. You can get the Unfamiliar Stone by turning in the first Mechterite you’re given at the machine in Valrika’s Laboratory. You should only ever unequip this if you’re really struggling in a fight and need to replace it with another jewel to get an advantage in the fight.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Trophy Guide Time Reverse
Turned back time at the altar.
Silver
You can turn back time at the altar in Shangri-La. You’ll need to complete the “Cinderella Tri-Stars” side quest and get the Tachyon Medal. The Tachyon Medal is in the Sanctum – Laboratory in the God Realm, on the right side of the room. The chest is hidden behind a pillar and once you’re close enough the camera will change so you can see the chest.

Afterward, you’ll be able to go to the altar to start New Game+. Everything transfers over into New Game+ except quest progress, and will also increase the level of all enemies in the game. The only exception to this is the Void Realm. If you unlocked it in regular New Game and made any progress in it, it will transfer into New Game+. The Void Realm also won’t scale in level like the rest of the game does. This makes New Game+ perfect to earn :gold: Pinnacle and makes clearing the Void Realm to reach Yim significantly easier. You’ll also unlock some more New Game+ specific things.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Trophy Guide Boundary Breaker
Unlocked the second Growth Map.
Gold
In order to unlock the second Growth Map, you’ll need to be in New Game+ and max out a character’s first Growth Map. This will unlock a new Growth Map for that specific character that mostly focuses on increasing stats and some convivences that’ll make New Game+ go quicker. Once you unlock the second Growth Map, you can go back into the first Growth Map and respec any skills you don’t want to get some of your SP back without losing access to the new Growth Map.
FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Trophy Guide Music Box
Unlocked the Music menu.
Silver
Once you start New Game+, there will be a god chest in the room in the Starry Eyes bar that leads to the Mini Toy Box that gives you Uematsu’s Tape Deck.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Trophy Guide The End of Chaos
Defeated Vam.
Silver
Story-related, cannot be missed.
FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Trophy Guide Excessive Order
Defeated Jas.
Gold
Story-related, cannot be missed.
FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Trophy Guide Beyond the Void
Defeated Yim.
Gold
Yim serves as the endgame content for the game, and isn’t directly linked to the story. To start the questline for unlocking the dungeon where Yim is located, you’ll need to start the “Echoes in the Sandsea” story quest, which you unlock by flying into the giant blue orb near En with the Uzra, after rescuing Zinikr.

After following the questline to its conclusion, you’ll unlock the Void Realm, which consists of 3 levels. The only thing in the dungeon are more powerful versions of story bosses, and after clearing the bosses on the floor, it’ll let you fight Yim. You’ll have to do this on all the floors of the dungeon. Her fight is the exact same all 3 times, just having better stats with each encounter.

Because of the difficulty of the dungeon, it’s highly recommended to go into New Game+ to tackle the Void Realm as you can then take advantage of the second Growth Map, as well as being a higher overall level. New Game+ is required anyway due to needing to reach level 99. The Void Realm will remain unlocked in New Game+. Any progress you’ve made in the Void Realm will also transfer over into New Game+. The Void Realm also isn’t affected by the level increase of New Game+, so everything there will still be the same level as in regular New Game. If you didn’t unlock the Void Realm in regular New Game, you can still unlock it in New Game+ by clearing the related questline.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Trophy Guide Bookworm
Read all novel scenes.
Silver
The vast majority of the Novel Scenes come from story quests, with only a few coming from other places. The ones that aren’t automatically given to you or directly linked to a main story event are below:

  • Unlocked during “The Lost Crystal Ball” quest.
  • After completing the “Guided by Yim” story quest, make sure to interact with the 3 sparkles on the ground as they’re novels.
  • After completing the “Restoring the Base” main quest, go out into Secret Base – Main Hall and you’ll automatically talk to a robot. You’ll want to choose to listen to the robot’s story.

Are the weapon/armor/jewel achievements cumulative? In other words, do I need them all in my inventory at once or can I sell things as I play?

Encounterd a potentially game breaking bug, if i try farming enemy mobs after roughly 7 or 8 random encounters the next random encounter gets stuck on an infinite load screen before the encounter starts. Same thing if i loose a fight and try going to “retry battle” i get stuck on an infinite loading screen.

This supposedly happens only on ps5 version of the game, but seem to be completely random. We have to wait for a patch unfortunately.

i found a really quick level farm in NG+, if you beat the quest which requires you to beat the dual chaos serpents in the big pool at chaos lake, it can be summoned as many times as needed and when i found this farm at level 92 it gives around one entire level up per battle victory, to make the battle a cakewalk for an easier farm, equip your main 3 party members with either poison null gems or all ailment null equipment.

Tempt this but usually don’t go for such high difficulty plats. Any chance letting me know why you thought the difficulty was so high?

Btw any chance for a dragon quest 3 remake trophy guide?

The game is about average difficulty that you’d expect from a JRPG. Bosses hit pretty hard so if you’re under prepared you can get wiped pretty quickly, especially late game. End game content (which is the Void Realm), is overall actually pretty easy once tackle it in NG+ instead since the NG+ specific Growth Map is extremely overpowered.

There are also some pretty heavy gimmick fights that are really annoying and messing up the gimmick or not being prepared for it can mess you up as well. Overall though, it’s not all that bad, especially if you’re familiar with JRPGs.

Also, I don’t believe anyone is working on a Dragon Quest 3 Remake Trophy Guide sadly.

Hi, does someone have ng+ unlocked?
There was a new update with customizable difficulty in NG+.
i wanted to know if you can make those customs midgame and change it everytime
or just in the beginning of a run.

    Hope someone could answer me.

    Cheers
