FANTASIAN Neo Dimension contains a total of 28 side quests. In order to unlock the Jack of All Trades trophy/achievement you’ll need to complete at least 10 of 28 side quests. From that point you can technically stop doing the side quests, with the exception of “The Lost Crystal Ball” as there are novel scenes tied to the side quest. However, it’s recommended to do all of the side quests to earn experience points and to get useful rewards such as unique weapons, armor, and jewels. These rewards all count towards their specific trophies and will make you stronger.
None of the side quests are missable, so you can always put off doing specific side quests until later. After the story you can reload the last autosave to respawn before the endboss and clean up anything from there.

Go to the Thaumatech Factory – Rooftop and go to the door behind the elevator, which clicker will unlock. You’ll then need to progress through a maze-like area, until you reach the end. Once you reach the end, you’ll encounter the boss. This boss relies heavily on RNG and coming in with the right setup and tactics. The boss does both insane physical and holy damage, so you’ll need to be prepared for both. Below are some tips and recommended items to bring with you into the battle.
Recommended Gear/Skills
- Equip your highest Holy Resistance jewels (in order of appearance) on Prickle, Leo, Valrika, Kina, and Zinikr. This is to minimize the damage of the boss’s Holy attacks.
- Equip your highest attack-raising jewel on Leo. This is to maximize the amount of damage you’re doing as Leo, since he’ll be the main DPS for this fight.
- Equip a Rutile Quartz on Prickle and Valrika. This is to ensure that they aren’t affected by the Slow down effect the boss casts. Sadly, we can’t get one on Leo, but there is a way to combat this.
- You’ll want a fully upgraded Cyclone Ring on both Leo, and your main healer so they have their turns more frequently. The rest of the equipment is up to the player
- Optional, you can upgrade Leo’s weapon, Tyrfing to Ragnarok so you deal more damage to the boss, but any high damage weapon will work just fine. You can also equip a fully upgraded Photon Bullet to Prickle so his Frenzy doesn’t miss as often.
- In Leo’s Growth Map, you’ll want to get both Samidare Hit upgrades, as well as Samidare (Ltng), as this will be your main source of damage. Having the Revenge skill is also a bonus, but not necessary.
- In Prickles Growth Map, you’ll want to get both Frenzy Hit upgrades, as well as learn Frenzy (Ltng), as this can be some free damage if you have downtime where you don’t need to heal. You’ll also want to learn Mega Barrier, as this is how you’ll avoid getting the Slow effect on Leo. Lastly, you’ll also want to fully upgrade the Tempest skills, as Prickle should be the only one using their ultimate.
- In Valrika’s Growth Map, you’ll want to get both Arrow Rain hit upgrades, as it’ll do a lot more damage than just regular attacks.
- In Kina’s Growth Map, you’ll want to make sure you have Resurrection so you always have a full revive to fall back on when you need it. Having Guard on her is also useful, to minimize damage during the bosses ultimate and increase chances of survival when you have bad RNG.
Party Roles/The Fight
- Leo – Main DPS (Starting line up)
- Prickle – Main Healer and secondary DPS (Starting lineup)
- Valrika – Support (Starting line up)
- Kina – Backup healer
- Zinikr – Pure defense (You’ll want to swap to him and guard during the ultimate attacks if you aren’t sure if you can survive it, that you at least one party member might survive and then you can get your revives off by swapping into Kina)
At the very start of the fight, you’ll have to deal with 2 energy tanks with 15,000 HP each. The left Energy Tank affects the boss’s physical damage, while the right Energy Tank affects the boss’s holy damage. You’ll want to focus the physical energy tank since you’ll resist a majority of the damage from the magical energy tank. Using Samidare (Ltng) on the left energy tank should bring it down to nearly destroyed, so you can then hopefully finish it off with Frenzy (Ltng). If not, you can use Arrow Rain to finish it off. Once it’s the boss’s turn to attack, he’ll randomly choose to either do a physical attack or a holy attack. Since you hopefully put the physical energy tank into low damage, hope he does a physical attack to minimize the amount of damage received. If not and he uses a holy attack, your resistances should be enough to minimize the damage unless you get unlucky and the multi-attack all hit the same ally. Once it’s your parties turn again, you can use Samidare (Ltng) on the magical energy tank which should put it into medium damage. You can then heal your party up, and then on Valrika you should use an Energy Drink on Leo. At this point the boss will attack again, and you’ll have noticed a countdown. After it reaches 0, it’ll revive all the energy tanks and start it’s ultimate. For this reason, it’s not recommended to fully destroy the magical energy tank during this turn since it’ll be fully revived on next turn anyway, so just go full DPS onto the boss, while healing up.
Once the boss activates his ultimate, you might have filled the Tension Gauge by now. If not, then it isn’t a big deal. If you did fill it up, You’ll want to use Tempest once it’s Prickles turn, which will nearly destroy the energy tanks outright. Then you can focus on them for their last little bit of HP. Just make sure that once the boss is about to unleash its ultimate, that every is either at, or close to full HP. If you don’t think you’ll survive, swamp into Zinikr and guard, that way you can recover.
After the ultimate ability is used, you’ll then have 2 turns to let lose on attacking the boss. You’ll want to use your first turn recovering from the ultimate attack as well as dealing as much DPS as you can. Once you get to the second turn, MAKE SURE TO CAST MEGA BARRIER ON LEO. This is extremely important as the boss will always follow up this turn with an attack that will affect everyone with Slow. Since Prickle and Valrika have the Rutile Quartz on, it won’t affect them & with Mega Barrier on Leo, it won’t affect him either.
From this point on, the fight is rinse and repeat until he’s defeated. Whenever you fill the Tension Gauge, make sure to save it for when the boss starts his ultimate attack to deal the most damage to the charged energy tanks as possible and increase your chances of survival. Sadly even with perfect play, the fight is extremely RNG, so this may take a few tries.
If at this point you’re still struggling with the fight, you can come back later once you’ve leveled up more and invested into more stat points in the Growth Map.
After defeating the boss, you’ll automatically turn the quest in.
That’s all of the quests in FANTASIAN Neo Dimension. Also check out the Trophy Guide & Roadmap and Locked Treasure Chests Guide.
