Introduction
Welcome to the Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Trophy Guide! This PS Plus free title managed to pull in massive amounts of players. Fall Guys is a 60 player battle royale platformer that is inspired by old TV shows like Takeshi’s Castle or Wipeout. The goal is to survive round after round and be the last Jellybean standing. The minigames can be split into different categories: Race, Logic, Team, Surviving and Finals. I will try to give you a short overview of each game in Step 1 just below, so you know how to behave in each game.
Step 1: Learn all the Rounds (Match Types), get 500 Match Qualifications, work on 5-Win Streak (Infallible Trophy)
The only hard task the game asks you to do is winning 5 Episodes in a row for trophy Infallible, which can be super difficult due to complete randomness or your teams, opponents, and what match types you will get. All the other trophies are doable and will be unlocked naturally sooner or later, most of them without even trying.
Race Stages
- See Saw – Due to it being always either the 1st or 2nd game in an episode it isn’t particularly hard to qualify from it. Try to avoid bigger groups and don’t jump on see saws that are already almost vertical (you may slide down). Sometimes, if a see saw is already tilted a bit to the side you can still make it with a jump-dive , – this gives you a safer landing and doesn’t make you slide off the sides as easily. If a see saw is fully tilted to the side you’ll fall down either way.
- The Whirlygig – You can actually use the rotating blades to your advantage by having them launch you forward quickly so do not be afraid of getting hit by them. For the last section it is better to take one of the sides instead of going through the middle, since the timing there is pretty strict.
- Hit Parade – At the very beginning it doesn’t really matter if you stay on top or fall down, since you will meet with the mob at the revolving doors anyway. There stick to the middle. At the final stretch avoid the balls and on the slimy ramp stick to the sides and don’t jump since it only slows you down.
- Dizzy Heights – Nothing particularly hard about this one. Stick to one side in the beginning and have the spinning platforms launch you forward to the next one. Avoid the balls shooting at you or simply run through them, it doesn’t make that much difference. Be sure to jump to the last section since otherwise you won’t make it to the other side there.
- Door Dash – The most random race in the game by far. Which door is the correct one is purely based on luck. However, we only need to qualify and not place 1st – an easy strategy is to stay in the middle and let other people go in front of you to see which doors they open. Don’t be the first one to bump into a door, because if it’s a wrong door you will get stuck. When lots of players go through the same door, you can jump-dive , to jump over them.
- Gate Crash – Memorize the pattern of the first set of gates for an easy headstart each round, it is always the same pattern. Don’t try to jump over a gate while it is already going up, it is most of the time safer to wait for the door next to it instead of falling down and having to get up again. At the slime slide at the end it makes sense to slow down a bit to choose the correct lane to jump over.
- Tip Toe – At the beginning just go crazy and try to find a way, the further you are, the safer you should play. Falling down near the end basically means being eliminated. When you see a platform shaking it means it’s a fake one, so if you are not sure which one to choose, pay attention to that detail.
- Fruit Chute – Stay to the sides and hope for the best. Going through the middle is pretty difficult since you have to pay attention to fruits flying at you and logs rolling in your direction as well. You can sometimes take shelter behind the triangle things on the sides to avoid fruits as well.
- Slime Climb – The “noob filter”. There is some slime growing behind you, if you touch the slime you get eliminated. So the goal is to outrun the slime. At the beginning your tactics are tied to your starting location. If you start in the front use the yellow trampoline to cut the first corner for a good head start, if you start in the back you either wait for the mob to get away from the trampoline or you take the way around. This game is notorious for eliminating the majority of contestants so mastering it will help you getting to the finals a lot more frequently. If this is your first round, you might get lucky and only 6 people survive so it skips straight to the finale in the 2nd round of the episode.
Surviving Stages
- Roll Out – Stick to the blue and purple parts on one of the ends of the rolling block and you should never get eliminated in this one. Just play it safe and watch out for people trying to grab you and you should be good. Don’t go for risky jumps and just walk between blue and purple for a safe win.
- Block Party – The safest method is to stay at the front of everyone else. Should you stay in the back an opponent tripping over could mean you being pulled into the abyss with him. As long as you stay in the front you should be able to avoid rag-dolling enemies tripping you over.
- Perfect Match – First you will see fruits on the floor plates, then a timer goes down on the side and shows which fruit (corresponding to the floor plate) to stand on. Either memorize the fruits yourself or trust where the other players go.
- Tail Tag – This is a single-player version of team tag. The safest method was to grab a tail and stick to purple ramps leading to the center of the stage. You have a good view of the situation there and once you see someone getting too close, use jump and dive to the purple ramp next to you. I managed to survive it by jumping back and forward up there most of the time.
- Jump Club – Just jump over the green bar and avoid crowds, since people like to grab others on this one.
Team Games
- Team Tail Tag – Grab a tail and hope for best. I prefer to stay on the higher section on the edges since the middle section is always very crowded. This game can go bad pretty fast so you basically have to hope for a good team.
- Egg Scramble – The trick is to grab as many eggs as possible at the beginning. The team which has the least at the start will most likely fall victim to the other 2 teams looting their nest like vultures. Once your team has a good amount try to protect your nest by grabbing all the thieves.
- Hoarders – Horrible game with high chance of losing in the last seconds. Once again, the team with the lowest amount at the start will get ambushed by the other 2 teams. Instead of trying to have the most balls yourself, make sure another team has none… very luck based.
- Rock N’Roll – Do NOT grab the big ball with R2, since you can’t. You will grab your teammates instead. Keep pushing the ball together and you should be fine. There are always people to run at the start to block the other teams but once you are on the team where everybody pushes the ball you should be first all the time.
- Hoopsie Daisy – Jump through the rings and stick to one side. Much easier when having teammates with you. Have someone in each area and don’t just run around the map like a headless chicken.
- Jinxed – Luck is what you really need here. You can’t really do much about it because you can’t control the whole crowd. If you are good at running away you might be the one to save the victory but don’t bet on it.
Final Games
- Fall Mountain – Stick to the sides since it helps you run past some gates and hammers. Also make sure to grab the crown with R2 at the end. It has some luck factor since sometimes the balls rolling at you can be ruthless.
- Hexagone – Stick to the edges of the platforms and make small jumps instead of running around. Always jump from one tile to the next. Only use dive-jumps if the next tile is far away. Keep the camera looking a bit downward so you can see what the floor below you looks like. It is usually better to have a lot of space on the platform below you for a safe drop, instead of trying risky jumps on the level you are on at the moment. So when you have very few tiles left, look below where you can land safely (if you don’t pay attention to the floor below, other players might already have used up the tiles below you and you could fall straight through several floors).
- Royal Fumble – A maximum of 6 people for this one. Grab the tail and run around… it highly depends on how predictable you are. Try to take different routes each time, make weird turns, run back when you think you will get caught by the opponents. Pretty random overall.
- Jump Showdown – It is a fun final but has some luck involved. The platforms below you will disappear so you can sometimes end up with no chance of surviving when too many platforms next to you disappear. Try to stay in the area with most platforms left and when you aren’t, try to jump-dive to another section. You can jump-dive from one platform to another with one missing in between if you stay close to the inner ring.

Infallible Win 5 Episodes in a row |
||
For this you need to win the Gold Crown 5 times in a row! This means you must qualify from every single round and always win the finale, 5 times in a row without fail. (To clarify: you don’t need to place 1st in the sub-rounds that an Episode consists of, just qualifying from the rounds is enough. What matters for the trophy is that you win the Gold Crown 5 times in a row).
Each Episodes usually lasts 5 rounds, but it varies depending on how fast the opponents are eliminated. It’s easier to win when playing with a group of friends. They can help you by sabotaging other players for you (e.g. pulling and pushing them off the map). Especially helpful in the final games – your friends can grab other players in basically each finale to slow them down. This trophy comes down to skill and also some luck. The skill component is to get really good at all match types (see Roadmap Step 1 for tips). The luck component is the team games. During some rounds you get through into a team of random players. If your team plays poorly and the other teams play much better, there’s not much you can do by yourself. That’s another reason why playing with friends is helpful, so at least you will have some good players on your team. Easy Exploit to cheat this trophy (last confirmed to work on August 18, 2020 on Patch 1.05): Even with this exploit, it’s still a very challenging and random trophy. Some problems: in the finale and some team games the winner can be decided by a split-second. Then you won’t have enough time to quit out as the match ending screen will already be playing. Closing the application at that point would void your streak. Combining the exploit (while it still works) and playing with 3 friends who help you win will greatly improve your odds though. |

Veteran Status Qualify from 500 rounds |
||
Episodes usually have 5 rounds (it varies how many rounds exactly, depending on how quickly opponents get eliminated). You need to be in the qualifying contestants 500 times at the end of a round. You don’t need to reach the finale and don’t need to win the gold crown at the end for this! To clarify: “Rounds” are the random matches that make up a whole “Episode” (and the Episode ends when you either win the Gold Crown or get eliminated). When you’ve qualified from one round you move on to the next round with the remaining contestants.
For a list of all Rounds with tips, refer to the Roadmap at the top of the guide. |
||
Show Off Win an Episode with a custom Punchline equipped |
||
You can unlock custom Punchlines in the shop as well as through level progression. Once you have unlocked one, equip it and win an episode.
Squad Goals Win an Episode as part of a party of 3 or more players |
||
Play with a group of friends and be the one to get the victory. It only counts if you yourself earn the gold crown at the end. You will not get this trophy if your friends win the gold crown, it has to be you! Likewise, if you get eliminated and watch the others it won’t give you the trophy. Only one player in the team will earn the trophy. Try to communicate with your friends who of you is designated to earn the victory, so you can help each other (e.g. your friends can hold back other opponents to make it easier for you).
Furthermore, it doesn’t matter if your friends qualify for the finale or not. You will still earn the trophy if you are the only player who makes it to the finale and wins the crown. So don’t worry if your friends are eliminated, you can still win the crown and the trophy along with it. |
||
Down to the Wire Qualify after a round goes to overtime |
||
You should get this trophy automatically on your way to 500 match qualifications. You sometimes get overtime on team matches if the score between teams is really close. Once the timer runs out on a team game just hope your team wins during the overtime (if you lose it won’t award you the trophy).
Face First Qualify from a racing round despite falling over more than 10 times |
||
Should be unlocked naturally without even trying. Especially on maps like Door Dash.
Low Baller Qualify from a team game with a score of 1 |
||
Can be done on Jinxed (by having only one survivor) or Fall Ball (by winning 1-0).
Big Tease Perform an emote just before coming first in a race round |
||
Press one of the buttons on your D-pad to perform an emote just before the finish line and win the race afterward. You don’t need to let the emote animation finish. Just press the button so it starts the emote and then quickly go over the finish line. When you are really far ahead of the opponents this will be easy to do.
Fall Bae Share a hug with a Fall Guy |
||
Grab an opponent with and hope they will do the same to do a hug and earn the trophy.
Big Air Clock up 1 hour total time falling |
||
Won’t be unlocked early, but you will get it during your grind for level 40 & 500 match qualifications guaranteed.
Stumble Chums Bump into other Fall Guys 1000 times in total |
||
Automatically unlocked on your way to 500 match qualifications, don’t even worry about this at all. You don’t need to grab opponents for this, only touch them by being really close to them. Because most races have a lot of Fall Guys running close together you will do this naturally whether you want to or not.
Style Points Fall for at least 3 seconds before landing on your head |
||
During Hoopsie Daisy jump from one of the side ramps with a dive jump and you will get it for sure.
Big Bully Knock someone over |
||
Will be unlocked naturally on your way to 500 match qualifications.
Troublemaker Bump into 3 people while rolling on the ground before getting up |
||
Will be unlocked naturally on your way to 500 match qualifications.
Fall Throttle Reach terminal velocity |
||
Can be achieved by being launched by one of the blades on Whirlygig. |

Unbelievably I managed to get the infallible trophy! Oh God.
Galowar says
I just platinumed. The hardest trophy to me was the low baller simply because the jinxed stage has a very low chance do be picked. I decided that my best shot should be in fall ball and that’s the way I got it. I played more than 40 matches to achieve the 1-0 score.
Zulqarmessi says
Mr. DK , have u earned the platinum, if yes did u remember how many times u need to leave the game to get the infallible ???
