Elden Ring: Intelligence-knot Crystal Tear Location

March 10, 2022 by imbroken963 5 Comments

Item: Intelligence-knot Crystal Tear

Item Type: Key Items

Item Description: A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages where the Erdtree’s bounty falls to the ground. The resulting concoction temporarily boosts one’s intelligence.

Locations:

  • Liurnia of the Lakes: Road to the Manor – From the Site of Grace look directly east and use Torrent to drop down off the cliff to the land below. Immediately look north and follow the cliffs to your left until you come across an item in a bowl surrounded by small hand enemies and a hand enemy burrowed in the ground ready to trap you. That item is this tear.

Max Number Held: 1

Why lie in a strategy guide? You cannot jump off of that cliff on Torrent or otherwise, even with an Opaline Tear flask equipped (negates incoming damage) you will die instantly.

There is no lie here, I personally did it. You can jump and use your second jump before you hit the ground on the bottom, you will take a little damage but you can 100% make it down that cliff without dying.

Weird. I am at the exact spot, fought all hands, the bowl is empty. And its not in my inventory. Damn.

Have you traveled the full length of the cliffside on the bottom? There are a couple of minor hands and a larger one waiting under the ground to try trapping you with a grab.

The tear is there, you can survive the jump, dependant on your endurance and if you use DJUMP
