Elden Ring All Ashen Remains Locations

This guide shows all Elden Ring Ashen Remains Locations. The Ashen Remains let you summon spirits (ghosts) to aid you in battle. These can be summoned during boss fights behind yellow mist-walls, but usually not against open world bosses. They cannot be used at any time. They are very helpful to distract bosses. While your AI-controlled spirits attack and draw the attention of the boss you can backstab from behind. You also need the Spirit Summoning Bell, obtained from the witch at Limgrave – Church of Elleh, after having unlocked the mount that you can ride.

This guide focuses specifically on the Ashen Remains, which are the spirits you summon. Do not confuse this with Ashes of War, which are the skill you equip to weapons! For Ashes of War, refer to Elden Ring All Ashes of War Locations.

• Banished Knight Oleg – Limgrave: Stranded Graveyard – Use a Stonesword Key on the Imp statue next to the Stranded Graveyard site of grace, follow the path and find the Ulcerated Tree Spirit boss at the bottom, defeat it to get these Ashes.
• Lone Wolf Ashes – Limgrave: Church of Elleh – Return to the area at night after you gain the mount that you can ride, then talk to the witch sitting on the ruins near the merchant
• Banished Knight Engvall – Limgrave: Murkwater Catacombs – Dropped from boss Grave Warden Duelist
• Wandering Noble Ashes – Limgrave: Stormfoot Catacombs – Dead end room above the three-level room with the switch
• Noble Sorcerer Ashes – Limgrave: Stormfoot Catacombs – Drop from boss
• Spirit Jellyfish Ashes – Stormhill: Stormhill Shack – Speak to the woman in the shack three times
• Godrick Soldier Ashes – Stormhill: Stormhill Shack – Go southwest from the shack towards the tree area on the map, and you can spot a number of spirit jellyfish. There will be two separate cemetery areas where the jellyfish float around. In the eastern one you can find this on a body.
• Warhawk Ashes – Weeping Peninsula: Church of Pilgrimage – North of the church, go near the spirit sitting on the chair to find this item.
• Marionette Soldier Ashes – Academy of Raya Lucaria: Church of the Cuckoo – Head out into the graveyard area and to the far end, then drop off the left side instead of going across the bridge. Follow the path back up and you will reach a ledge with two Marionette Archers and this on a body.
• Avionette Soldier Ashes – Academy of Raya Lucaria: Schoolhouse Classroom – Go back out towards the waterwheel, and ride the side going down to the very bottom. Go to the left where the enemies are to find this on a body.
• Fanged Imp Ashes – Limgrave: Main Academy Gate – From this site of grace head down the path to the east and you’ll find a merchant (called Isolated Merchant) who sells this for 2000 runes.
• Rotten Stray Ashes – Caelid, Sellia Under-Stair (Sellia, Town of Sorcery) – Found directly north of the “Sellia Under-Stair” site of grace in the Town of Sorcery.
• Soldjars of Fortune Ashes – Leyndell, Royal Captial: Auriza Side Tomb – Drop from boss.
• Raya Lucaria Soldier Ashes – Road’s End Catacomb – At the end of the catacombs, hit the wall with a weapon to make it disappear, it’s in the chest behind the wall.
• Albinauric Ashes – Liurnia of the Lakes: Caria Manor, Behind Caria Manor – After defeating Royal Knight Loretta in the Caria Manor, go to the open area, turn right and head down the hill. Go straight and you’ll find a cemetery, between some of the enemies is a white glowing item containing these Ashes
• Mimic Tear Ashes – Nokron, Eternal City: Night’s Sacred Ground – Behind Imp Statue that requires Stonesword Key in a chest.
• Radahn Soldier Ashes – Caelid: War-Dead Catacombs – Can be found inside the War-Dead Catacombs, accessed through the desert area where you fight Redahn boss (can only go there after having defeated Redahn). It’s on the way to the lever that you need to pull to open the door to the boss.
• Redmane Knight Oga – Caelid: War-Dead Catacombs – Dropped by the boss “Putrid Tree Spirit” inside the War-Dead Catacombs. These catacombs are accessed through the desert where you fought Shardbearer Radhan (only available after defeating Radahn Main Boss).
• Leyndell Soldier Ashes – Altus Plateau: Sainted Hero’s Grave – Found inside this underground area, in the room where the ground breaks (before falling down through the floor).
