Here you can find a full Dying Light 2 Walkthrough with a full Quests List. Dying Light 2 has a total of 22 Main Story Quests. The game is divided into 2 Maps: Old Villedor and Central Loop. The Prologue has its own unique area that cannot be revisited and cannot be replayed in Co-Op. After finishing the 3rd Main Quest the game opens up and you can start to free-roam, but must advance the story to gain access to the 2nd region. A story playthrough takes about 20-25 hours and if you include all Side Quests it can be around 35 hours. There is still free-roam after the story, but a few story-related places become inaccessible. You can still revisit everything by joining someone else’s Co-Op session, except the Prologue area that can’t be replayed and includes 1missable Memento Collectible.
This 100% Walkthrough also includes the Collectibles throughout the mission where they appear, highlighted in bold. See individual separate Collectible Guides linked at the bottom of the page. Everything for 100% Completion is included here.

How do we play the quests that are on Techlands web site, when we link accounts. My current quest is “Hit the Road” the first level. It says something about driving a buggy 5 km. I accepted the quest, but do not know how once I go in to the game to play it. Anyone played any of these quests?

Buggy is in Dying Light : The Following not Dying Light 2

Hi, I believe you missed a side quest “Rats in the Dark”, it’s not on the list. It’s next to the “To kill or not to kill” quest. The quest giver is the bartender but not so sure what triggered it.
Edga says
Sorry, I meant “Rats in the House”
PowerPyx says
Looking into that, appreciate it! It seems the quests at The Fish Eye bar are all a bit glitchy and don’t spawn for some players.

I think i finally figured how the “To Kill or Not to Kill” and “Rats in the House” missions works. At least i finally did both on my second game for the collectibles.
So, on this second run i arrived to the second city and ONLY FOCUSED on the main missions “A Place To Call Home”, “Orders” and “Observatory”. Nothing more.
When you get about half way on “Observatory” you will get a call for the Secondary mission “Renegades” AND THIS MISSION IN MISSABLE. Just go to some places, kill enemies and free some NPC.
After that i completed the main mission “Observatory” and “Welcome on Board” started.
Then i get inside the ship of main mission “Welcome on Board” quest to talk whit Carrier 2 for the Carriers quest AND THEN “Rats in the House” mission was available on the “fish bar”. Just talk to the bartender to start it, GET INTO THE METRO STATION AND ACTIVE IT, talk to the bartender and finish quest.
Then i did a fast travel to Baazar and the ! icon of “To Kill or Not to Kill” was in the bar.
I think the most important steps are:
1- DO NOT active Metro under “fish bar” when you first arrive.
2- Focus ONLY on main mission till you get to “Observatory”, and COMPLETE the Renegade mission when it appear when you are going to the Observatory.
3- Complete “Observatory” and when “Welcome on Board” check if you have the “Rats in the House quest” and COMPLETE IT.
4- Fast travel to Baazar, fast travel to “fish bar” and “To Kill or Not to Kill” will be available
Some pics to prove it:
“Welcome on Board” on first step + Carriers started after talk whit the girl:

Renegade mission completed (you can see the rats one completed allready):

Hope it helps to other players to get the collectible

It works exactly like you said but in the important steps you should mention going to the ship and obtain the second courier which then allows for the rat quest
Steve says
I did exactly what you described and as soon as I got Welcome On Board there was no carrier mission to collect. The quest giver was never there standing by the board in the main area. They need to add a new game+ feature so that it’s possible to obtain missed side missions/collectibles without starting over. I already have 100+ hrs on my save and there’s no way I’m starting over.

There is one more story quest – “Spy Game”. I think its another version of “Empire” quest. It’s description is:
“In exchange for my help, Juan Rainer promised to find a GRE scientist who might know something about Waltz’s experiments and about Mia’s fate. The time has come for him to fulfill his part of the bargain.”
