Requirement: Automatically started after completing Side Quest “The Deserter” if you chose to keep the map
Reward: 500 Combat XP, 1500 Agility XP, 2x Remote C4
Mission Info: Bart, the PK deserter, gave me a coded message that he stole before he left his post. He couldn’t figure it out, but he thought the key to decoding might be in the ship’s library.

Treasure Hunt is a side quest in The Wharf that is started automatically after completing the Side Quest “The Deserter“, but only if you chose to keep the map at the end of it.

Head downstairs to the library and talk to Albert.
Interact with the book on the table to learn the cipher, and then the note next to it to see the code.
The solution to the code is:
MUDDY GROUNDS
WATER TOWER BASEMENT
ZERO THREE TWO ONE SIX SEVEN
Head to the Water Tower in Muddy Grounds.
Go inside and drop down to the basement where it is flooded. Beneath a gantry you will find a safe, which you can open using the code: 3 21 67. Grab the explosives.
This finishes Treasure Hunt Side Quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

Minor weapon after all that running around. I could have just made the explosive myself and saved time. Games should learn how to reward the players better for completing quests
