Dying Light 2 How to Unlock UV Flashlight

In Dying Light 2 the UV Flashlight is unlocked automatically during the 14th Main Quest “Welcome On Board”.

To use the UV Flashlight:

• PlayStation: Hold LEFT to open equipment wheel to assign UV Flashlight to quick slot > hold R2 to use it.
• Xbox: Hold LEFT to open equipment wheel to assign UV Flashlight to quick slot > hold RT to use it.
• PC: Open equipment wheel to assign UV Flashlight to quick slot > hold Attack-Button to use it.

Keep an eye on the flashlight’s battery level, shown in the quick slot in the bottom left of the screen. When it reaches zero, you’ll have to wait a few seconds for it to replenish. Luckily it recharges quickly and for free, you don’t need to go anywhere to charge it manually. Keep Infected within UV Light cone until they get stunned or fall to the ground. This makes them vulnerable for a few seconds. Use that opportunity to attack.
