Dying Light 2 Dirty Job Challenge Walkthrough

Dirty Job Challenge is a Side Mission (Side Quest) in Dying Light 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Dirty Job Challenge side mission.

Quest Giver: Declan
Requirement: Assign the Horseshoe Water Tower to Peacekeepers and activate the ‘Willow’ Windmill
Reward: Combat Manual, 151-505 Combat XP (depending on your medal ranking)
Mission Info: PK Declan and his buddies used to kill infected as they issued from holes in a wall. Then, his Commanders had all the holes sealed. However, a new hole has appeared and Declan has a weapon he wants to test on it.

Objectives:

• Finish the challenge with at least Bronze Medal
• Report back about the challenge

Starting Location: Dirty Job Challenge

Dirty Job Challenge is a side quest in Horseshoe that can be started by talking to Declan at the Rooftop Outpost after assigning the Horseshoe Water Tower to the Peacekeepers and activating the ‘Willow’ Windmill.

Finish the challenge with at least Bronze Medal

This quest is a combat challenge. Interact with the bolt cannon next to Declan to initiate the challenge. In order to get bronze, you will need to protect at least 1 of the 3 PK Dummies for 3 minutes.

Hop on the bolt cannon once the challenge starts and shoot any incoming infected. For the purpose of this side quest, you can simply focus on one to ensure you get bronze, with the middle PK Dummy being the easiest to defend. Keep in mind that infected may try to attack you so keep an eye out for infected coming towards you. There are also explosives around the area that you can shoot to clear crowds.

Report back about the challenge

As long as you got at least a bronze medal, talk to Sadio. Otherwise, attempt the challenge again. You can also attempt the challenge again to get a silver or gold medal if you so desire.
