Dying Light 2 Book Club X Walkthrough

Book Club X is a Side Mission (Side Quest) in Dying Light 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Book Club X side mission.

Region: The Wharf
Quest Giver: Albert
Requirement: Automatically started after completing Side Quest “Book Club IX“, however it may take a while before you receive it
Reward: 2000 Combat XP, 2000 Agility XP, Late Fees (Unique Bracers)
Mission Info: I agreed to help Albert, the librarian, with an unusual task. I had to find the world’s most valuable works of literature in order to preserve them for future generations.

Objectives:

  • Talk to Thalia about the next batch of books
  • Find books in marked apartment
    • Pick up Treasure Island
    • Get valuables from the safe
  • Bring the books to Albert

Starting Location: Book Club X

Book Club X is a side quest in The Wharf that is automatically started after completing Side Quest “Book Club IX“.

Talk to Thalia about the next batch of books

Talk to Thalia who is next to Albert.

Find books in marked apartment

Head to the marked location at the marked apartment.

There are nine books here, eight you can pick up normally and one you have to investigate. There are five of these regular books on the right side of the room and three on the left side.


After picking up the eight regular books, investigate Treasure Island next to the phone and some bandits will attack you. Kill them all.

Pick up Treasure Island

After dealing with the bandits, pick up Treasure Island and you will get a code for the safe by the entrance.

Get valuables from the safe

Interact with the safe by the door and open it using the code: 21 12 55. Grab the valuables from the safe.

Bring the books to Albert

Return to the Missy and speak to Albert.

This finishes Book Club X Side Quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
