For the most part these trophies look like simple tutorial tasks for doing everything for the first time. There are no difficulty-related trophies (presumably the game only has one difficulty setting). There are a few completion tasks and collectibles required: Solutions to All Riddles, all Maister’s Teachings, Grilling every type of meat during day and night, 80 Seeker’s Tokens, Maximum Rank in one Vocation, Maximum Affinity with one person.

With the game only featuring 1 Autosave and no Manual Saves we’ll have to pay close attention that nothing goes wrong, or it will require another playthrough. Luckily there is New Game+ to do the trophy cleanup, and the whole map gets automatically unfogged in NG+.

What are your thoughts on the Dragon’s Dogma 2 trophy list? Do you like what you see? Are you going for the Platinum? For all solutions check out Dragon’s Dogma 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap.

So strip down and flash the guards? They see you naked and let you pass in awe.

I played Dragon’s Dogma on PS3 and liked it initially, but didn’t ever finish it, probably because I found it too difficult. However, that was over a decade ago, and I really enjoy RPGs, so I’m looking forward to giving this series another chance by playing Dragon’s Dogma 2 (even if I’m concerned with the frame rate). The trophies seem fine at a glance, but I am wondering if the fact that NPCs can die permanently will make certain trophies missable (hopefully not). Also, I would prefer to have multiple save slots (even though I know it’s a deliberate choice from the developer).

No reach level 100 or 200 trophy, hard mode or speed run trophy. I like those in the original.

The hard mode and 200 one were fine if you enjoyed playing the game but good riddance to the speedrun trophy.

Same, can’t believe I can’t platinum one of my favorite games of all time because of some mini games and boring vr mission without any checkpoints.

Minigames are doable with enough luck. Vr challenges are what really kills this platinum for me. Still trying though.

I am very surprised there is no complete all quests trophies like dd1 .. this trophy was insane as it is so easy to miss or failed quests

It’s probably because it was so easy to miss that Capcom decided to avoid it this time around.

I don’t see a speed run trophy like the Dragons Dogma PS4 port has, love Dragons Dogma but i hated doing a speed run. Yes, i ended up doing 4 playthroughs of the first game before i managed to complete all quest in a single playthrough.

Yes – but won’t be ready for another week or so. A lot to figure out in this game how to piece everything together perfectly in as few playthroughs as possible.

Trophy Guide is in progress. I’m aiming to have it done next 7-10 days.
In the meantime, you can use the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Wiki (work-in-progress). I’ll expand it as I go. A good chunk is already done.

For any tricky trophies I’ll upload videos to my YouTube in the meanwhile.

    Trophy info so far:
    – Technically all trophies are missable, except for a few story trophies. If you finish the ending and start NG+ then it’ll start a new playthrough and you have to go through everything again. Good thing is that your equipment & level carry over.
    – If you keep a PS+ backup save during Main Quest 14: A New Godsway, you can still clean up most stuff from there. The game only has 1 autosave and lots of missables, so back up to PS+ Cloud regularly. If you make a mistake you can redownload the Cloud Save. Be sure to turn off autosync so it doesn’t overwrite your PS+ save. Doing this plat without PS+ backup saves would be insane due to how easy many things are to miss.
    – Most highly missable are the Sphinx Riddles. If you give a wrong answer you cannot retry the riddle and are locked out of it for this playthrough.
    – Remember where you find your first Seeker Token, you must return to that spot for a Sphinx Riddle. IF you don’t note it down, it’d be annoying to find the location again (keep a map screenshot of the exact spot).
    – It might be best to do one playthrough for fun, do as much side content as possible to learn the game structure. Then clean up everything in New Game+. By that time I should also have the trophy guide done.
    – You can rush NG+ pretty fast in under 10 hours as you’ll already know where to go.
    – I estimate 4.5/10 difficulty & 60-100 hours to Platinum so far (final rating might change). The combat itself isn’t difficult, it’s just that some trophies are convoluted, you only have 1 Autosave and things can go wrong easily.

Just defeat enemies. You rank up vocations from defeating enemies.

I have a Question, can you do the Plat in 1 Playthrough with Guide? or do you need more Playthroughs?

You can do it in 1 playthrough if you plan it out.
I like doing my first playthrough on my own as much as possible, at my own pace. Only looked up the sphinx riddles so far.
Well, i also noticed that i already need to do ng+ because of the phantom oxcart quest.
