Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero How to Summon Porunga

October 8, 2024 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

In Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero you can summon Porunga to grant you wishes. To summon Porunga you need 7 Namekian Dragon Balls. These are completely random match rewards in P1 vs. CPU Offline Battle.

Go to Battle & Training > Battle > Offline > P1 vs. CPU. Play any 1 vs. 1 battles (map and characters don’t matter). You can change the number of opponents by pressing :r1: in the character select screen, set it to just 1.

You will sometimes get the Namekian Dragon Balls after battles but it’s entirely random. Sometimes you will get regular Dragon Balls as a match reward instead. It doesn’t matter how you finish the match, it doesn’t matter on what map you play, and it doesn’t matter what characters are in the match. The drop chance is around 5% (1 Namekian Dragon Ball every 20 match wins).

To speed it up, pick an opponent with very little health to end the matches faster. Gohan (Teen) has the lowest health. You can change opponents by pressing R1/RB in the character select screen, and can then filter by Health is ascending order. You can rematch after the battle immediately without changing characters. If you get bored you can switch to other characters and maps, but you can and will earn Namekian Dragon Balls repeatedly with the same characters too. Finishing with regular attacks will be faster than using Ultimate Blasts so you don’t have to watch long animations.

A full match including animations and loading times takes around 50 seconds. Assuming 15-20 matches per Namekian Dragon Ball x 7 for all of them = 105-140 minutes.

When you have 7 Namekian Dragon Balls, go to the “Come Forth” Menu and choose “Summon Porunga”. Then you can choose all 3 wishes to unlock the trophy.

Porunga Wishes

Porunga lets you choose 3 wishes in a row. Unlike Shenron who only grants 1 wish you get all 3 in one go. This is also why Porunga’s dragon balls have a lower drop rate than regular dragon balls that result in only one wish. You can pick these 3 wishes:

  • I want more Zeni
  • I want ability items
  • I want more titles

All other summons:

  • How to Summon Super Shenron
