Did you know there is a hard difficulty in Dragon Ball Fighter Z? There’s hard mode in Arcade and also in the Story.
Arcade Hard Mode
To unlock hard mode in Arcade, simply beat all 3 normal difficulty courses. When you beat one course it unlocks the hard variant. It’s worth the work as you can unlock Goku (SSGSS) + Vegeta (SSGSS) from beating the hard versions with A-Rank or better.
Story Hard Mode
After beating the story for the first time you’ll unlock hard mode. To actually change the difficulty you must click on “Start New Game” in the first Story Arc. It then lets you pick the difficulty. On hard mode enemies have higher levels. Enemies also spawn more often on empty map spots. What’s best is that you earn way more Zeni in this mode, especially if you make it to the third Story Arc again. You can also unlock the Level 6 skills. If you stack 3 skills that give more Zeni you can farm a lot of money this way. You also receive an additional 80,000 Zeni for each Story Arc you complete on hard difficulty.
And that’s all there is to the difficulties in Dragon Ball FighterZ. In local matches you can adjust the CPU difficulty before the match. In Story mode & Arcade the CPU difficulty is set automatically.
On hard mode you can still win very easily by spamming (don’t use any directional buttons). Switch between your allies regularly to recover health. If you get stuck in the story, level up some more or equip the skill “Health Regeneration” (you can stack these to increase the effect).

Tbh, I lost a few times on the Android 21 arc with only 16 and 18 because I didn’t know how to play them, then I look back at a lythero video and remembered, CCQC, (Counter Clockwise Quarter Circle) with L,M,H, Or Flying Powerbomb
