The page has a list of all quests and their starting locations in Dragon Age Veilguard. This will be helpful for finishing all companion quests and regional side quests, which are needed for the best ending and various trophies & achievements. Completing a companion’s questline upgrades that person to a Hero of the Veilguard, which grants a legendary armor, new skills, and special abilities. Doing all regional quests increases your ranking with the factions up to 3 stars.
A few quests cancel out each other depending on whether you help Minrathous (Dock Town) or Treviso in Chapter 6. It’s recommended to help Minrathous (not Treviso) as this is the only way to get all factions above 1 star and to get the best ending. This choice will affect the next story quest, and changes a few of Neve’s and Lucanis’s side quest. But other than that it won’t change the rest. If you save Minrathous, then Lucanis temporarily leaves the team. If you save Treviso, then Neve temporarily leaves the team. Regardless, they return later in the game and you can still do their questline then.
IMPORTANT CHOICES (needed to get 100% completion, best ending, all trophies & achievements):
- Chapter 6 during Story Quest “On Deadly Wings” – choose to help Minrathous (not Treviso)
- Crossroads – Regional Side Quest: Regrets of the Dread Wolf – at the end of the quest when you talk to Mythal, solve the dialogue peacefully to gain her favor: I want your help > We must stop the blight > You stood against it > We must stop the gods > They wronged you > We are worthy > Building a safe place.
Then the only other important decisions will be in Chapters 12 to 14 during the ending. All choices prior to this are less important as they only affect some dialogue responses and whether you get a slight XP boost with a companion when they approve your choice. Until the ending none of the companions can die so you can’t really mess anything up.
If a quest isn’t available, be sure to advance the story and more quests will appear. All quests are still doable after the story. There will be a Point of No Return in Chapter 11 during story quest “When Plans Align”. However, after the story you can click “Continue” in the Title Screen and it will automatically set you back to Chapter 11 before the Point of No Return. All your quest progress carries over between ending runs, and you can replay the ending as many times as you like. So other than the quests that cancel out each other, none of the quests are missable. Just the two choices listed above are important to get all trophies/achievements in one playthrough. You should also collect all Mementos as you go through the game, as quest-specific areas can’t be revisited later.
Do note that some short “intermission” quests between story chapters aren’t listed in the quest log and won’t be listed here. Those are just short conversations you have at the lighthouse (hub area) before starting the next story quest.

Head’s up. “The Labs Below” (and by extension “Regrets of the Dread Wolf”) can be started from the first time you enter the Crossroads. RotDW can be started automatically upon finding any of the related wolf statuettes after unlocking those areas well before “Disrupt and Conquer” (which I haven’t reached yet myself).
Sergio says
As far as I know there is at least one missable quest, “A growing corruption”. At the beginning of the game you have to decide whether you save the mayor of a town or not; I read somewhere that you miss the quest if you save him. There are probably more quests you can miss depending on your decisions.
