Fortress of Doom is the Hub Area in Doom Eternal that you return to between some missions, it contains 13 collectibles most of which will require Sentinel Batteries to access (2 Modbots, 1 Codex page, 2 Cheat codes, 3 Sentinel Crystals, 5 Praetor Suit Tokens). This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Fortress of Doom in Doom Eternal. If you don’t have enough Sentinel Batteries to access a collectible just keep playing the story and do the 3 Challenges in every mission (each challenge gives you 1 Battery). You can also use Mission Select to get Batteries you missed across other missions.
- 2 Modbots
- 1 Codex Page
- 2 Cheat Codes
- 3 Sentinel Crystals
- 5 Praetor Suit Tokens
After completing the story you can pause the game and select “Return to Campaign” to revisit the Fortress of Doom (not available during the story).
Sentinel Crystal #1 – Story related, unmissable.
» After this Mission 2: Exultia starts (remember we are in a hub area here that connects us between the chapters). Follow the Mission 2: Exultia Collectible Guide until you get back here.
Codex #1 (The Fortress of Doom) – After returning from Chapter 2: Exultia, you can descend lower into the ship to find this codex.
Praetor Suit Token #1 – After returning from Chapter 2: Exultia. Story related, unmissable.
» After this Mission 3: Cultist Base starts. Follow the Mission 3: Cultist Base Collectible Guide until you get back here after Mission 4.
After Mission 4 you will come back here between missions. Just go for the remaining Collectibles whenever you have enough batteries available (complete mission challenges for extra batteries, too). There are more batteries than you need.
Modbot #2 (requires 2 batteries) – In the large room at the back of the ship behind a locked barrier on the upper floor.
Praetor Suit Token #2 (requires 2 batteries) – In the large room at the back of the ship behind a locked barrier on the upper floor.
Preator Suit Token #3 (requires 2 batteries) – In the large room at the back of the ship behind a locked barrier on the upper floor.
Sentinel Crystal #2 (requires 2 batteries) – In the large room at the back of the ship behind a locked barrier on the lower floor.
Sentinel Crystal #3 (requires 2 batteries) – In the large room at the back of the ship behind a locked barrier on the lower floor.
Praetor Suit Token #4 (requires 2 batteries) – In the room where you can take the elevator down, on the right side locked behind a barrier.
Praetor Suit Token #5 (requires 2 batteries) – In the room where you can take the elevator down, on the left side locked behind a barrier.
Cheat Code #1 (All Runes) (requires 2 batteries) – This is in the outside area of the ship where you can get the Original Praetor Suit. You must first use 2 batteries on the room containing the original Praetor Suit. Then drop out of the window, turn around and dash into an opening near the bottom of the tower to find the secret.
Cheat Code #2 (Fully Upgraded Suit) – This is only available after completing Mission 8: Sentinel Prime. From where you start out on the Fortress of Doom (the control room where you spawn in), walk into the next room straight ahead (top floor). You can see the “?” icon floating on the platform above the red beam of light. To the right side of the red beam you can see a red button on a window [Screenshot #2, circled red]. Shoot this red button, it will unlock a red air vent on the floor. Jump on the air vent and it will catapult you up to the ventilation shaft from where you can drop down onto the Cheat Code Secret [Screenshot #3].
Keep in mind: Unlike other missions the Fortress of Doom does not show up in mission select. In order to get back to Fortress of Doom you must finish the story first, then while replaying a mission pause the game and select “Return to Campaign”.
That’s 100% of the collectibles you can find in Fortress of Doom in Doom Eternal.
Next Up: Exultia

The cheat code all runes in the Praetor suit room drop down can be acquired without using batteries by jumping off in the right spot above and getting over the invisible barrier just right and using both dashes to get above it and drop onto it. It’s fairly tricky but I’ve pulled it off twice.

I’ve not been able to replicate this bug at all.
Please post a video if you’re able to do so.

There’s x2 ModBots (They’re both in the same place as ModBot #2), making a total of 3 ModBots for this level.
