If you’re wondering whether Far Cry 6 supports Manual Saves (or how to Manual Save), you won’t like the answer. Far Cry 6 does NOT support Manual Saves.
There is only 1 single Autosave Slot. So if something goes very wrong, i.e. a game-breaking bug, there’s no easy way back. The closest thing to Manual Saving is that you can trigger an Autosave by going to Pause Menu > System > Quit to Main Menu. This puts you back in the Title Screen and will create an Autosave.
You can also back up your Autosaves. On PS4 you can back up Saves to USB, on PS5 only 1 single online Backup to PlayStation Plus Cloud is possible (which costs the monthly PS+ fee). You can do this by going to PS4/PS5 Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Saved Data (PS4/PS5) > Console Storage > Copy to USB or Upload to Cloud Storage.
On Xbox Live you are also limited to the Online Cloud Backups.
