This looks easy for a Diablo game and is pretty self-explanatory. The main grind will be reaching Level 100 with one character. This can luckily be done in Standard Mode and not Hardcore.
In Hardcore Mode we must only reach level 50 with one character. Hardcore is a permadeath mode, so if you die you lose your progress and must restart at level 1. After having reached level 100 once in Standard Mode you will already know the game and this shouldn’t be particularly hard when playing it safe.
We have to kill 666 enemies of each basic mob category, which will happen automatically on the grind to Level 100. Each character class has one silver trophy for using their basic abilities a number of times, but we don’t need to reach a specific level with any class, thus allowing for total freedom of choice what class you want to play. Basically all of the bronze and silver trophies will come naturally as you play to Level 100. Overall, a straightforward list that is more time-consuming than it is difficult. The only missable thing will be the Hardcore Level 50 trophy, because if you die you lose your progress in Hardcore Mode. Nothing else looks missable.
NOTE: On June 01, 2023 one trophy requirement has been changed on PSN Servers just before the game’s launch: “Curious Collector – Unlock all Codex of Power Aspects” was changed to “Curious Collector – Imprint 10 items at the Occultist with an Aspect from the Codex of Power”. The platinum name was also changed from “Platinum” to “Arise, Champion”.

For a first time Diablo player, anybody have expectations on how hard that Level 50 Hardcore trophy will be? I loathe Permadeath but was curious if you can avoid the “harder” stuff in your pursuit of the trophy.
Felippe says
Should be fine, as it is halfway through!
Skrimlak says
lvl 1-50 is the main story. so it will take some time. just play slow and carefull
Seranex says
I’d say just follow the story and you should be fine as long as you’re cautious and dnt get swarmed it should be pretty easy compared to D2R
fostex747 says
In Diablo 3 is a trophy to reach max level 70 in hardcore mode, which is really not that difficult. Hopefully it will be similar in Diablo 4
I’m sure about D2R though.
Irwynn says
The only thing you should be aware of is randomly spawned The Butcher boss mob. He’s very dangerous for melee characters. But, I’m not sure if he will be as powerful as on beta test.
Ronald says
I was wondering the same thing as comment #1
Logan says
I’m not going to say it’ll be easy. But judging by past diablo games it will be way easier than it sounds. Especially if you have a friend that’s good at the game.
Daniel says
It’ll definitely be the “hardest” of these trophies, but shouldn’t be impossible for basically anyone. It should be doable on World Tier 1, the easiest version of the game, and as long as you play carefully, pay attention, and don’t go AFK in live zones, shouldn’t be too too difficult.
If doing it oneself is proving too difficult, there will almost certainly be a community of folks willing to drag you along with them for this trophy. Diablo has a long history of people powerleveling others, although with the shocking adept level scaling in this game versus older Diablo titles, it may be somewhat more difficult.
Fungiferous says
Will probably be a joke. Play on adventurer. You don’t even need to up it past that to get it. Just ezmode the campaign and you win.
Play the game normally first. Then just blast it out later once you know the fights. I’ve played both betas and server slam, and I’d estimate this trophy alone to be like, a 3/10. Max.
Randy says
You can just grind monsters if you’re too worried about boss fights or story boss but tier 1 difficulty is pretty baby mode.
SadisticSymphony says
Hopefully PvP can be boosted
KoimiaX says
Ugh pvp. Honestly, who pvps in Diablo?
Dorkoff says
Easy peasy list. I can’t believe how pedestrian this is tbh. Level 50 Hardcore is laughably easy, just play as a Necromancer and let your skeleton army do all the work for you.
Martin says
I think its too easy but it is what it is.
Kamonj says
only thing that worries me are the dungeon and pvp trophies which hopefully can bee boosted, i dont like these kind of trophies at all, the rest seems pretty ok so far
Sealior says
Lately all games are disappointing in difficulty…Every game is nowadays easy with no challenges anymore
naoneko says
It is easier than the previous ones just avoid the butcher if you see one for safety. Haha
MuskelmannVolvox says
To clarify:
I played both D2R and D3 Just Hardcore Mode and Platinumed both. Also played both Betas D4.
D4 Hardcore will be easier then D2R, harder then D3.
I would recommend to “Overlevel” in early Stage of the Game via Open world activities with other Players. Dont get me wront, the world scales with you but the activities in Open world will be less pain then the Dungeons or Story Bosses. Dont even try World Bosses If you dont feel comfortable with your class.
Best choice would be Necro or Sorc for Hardcore If you ask me.
Mattoelite1 says
Any idea how long it would take to level to 50 HC playing it safe like this?
DMCry- says
Easy list thats for sure, to bad is that only 26 trophies so prepare to dlc’s in future.
Tree says
Can this game be played without PS plus?
Ian says
Sorry but no
OldZcule says
To the playstation players here, because of the hardcore lvl 50 trophy.
Play a bit and upload your file on a e.g. usb stick. In Diablo 3 this worked fine. Iam not 100% sure if it works here but absolutely possible. If you uploaded it, you only lose a bit progress. So no problem.
Brett says
I’m certainly not gonna complain about an easy plat, but I do find it really annoying that these devs can’t be bothered to come up with more than 26 trophies in a game as deep as Diablo.
Ahmed Tallal says

Just to check whether the trophy for pvp kills can be obtained through local co-op instead of online?
Paweł says
Any idea how the trophies work with cross-progression on other platforms? Can I start playing on PC, log in on PS5 and the trophies will autopop?
PowerPyx says
Trophy Guide is now available: Diablo 4 Trophy Guide & Roadmap
