Diablo 4 Hawezar All Side Quest Locations

Diablo 4 has 49 Side Quests in the region of Hawezar. Each Side Quest will grant 30 Renown for the region, as well as various rewards. Some quests will require you use a gesture. Most quests are available from simply speaking to a person marked by a blue ! on the map. Some will require previous quests to be completed before they become available, and some will start upon picking up a particular quest item that can drop in certain areas.

Umir Plateau

1 – Remnants of Faith
Inside Zarbinzet, available when first arriving. Head to the quest marker, then follow the marked areas to Maugan’s Folly and enter Maugan’s Works dungeon. Search for the armour.

2 – The Heretic
Inside Zarbinzet, available when first arriving. Head to the marked area and kill the demons. Gather flowers in the marked area, then return to Zarbinzet. Enter the Forgotten Cave and kill the demons.

3 – A Price to Pay
Started automatically after completing The Heretic. Speak to Vera and Suzana, then search homes in the marked area for the book. Head to and enter Blind Burrows, and collect 8 Spider Venom. Bring it to Aneta, then speak to Gulyas

4 – Poisoned Hearts
Started automatically after completing A Price to Pay. Head to the marked area and extinguish the braziers at Gulyas’ Hovel. Gather 4 Rotten Livers in the marked area, then enter the Hidden Glade and kill enemies to fill the Blood Altar, then return to Gulyas’ Hovel.

5 – Coiled Grasp
Inside Zarbinzet, available after progressing Act V. Head to the quest marker and inspect the corpse.

6 – To Walk a Dark Path
Inside Zarbinzet, available after completing Act V. Head to the Decaying Farmstead and kill the enemies for a Lockbox Key, then open the Forgotten Lockbox. Head to the quest marker and fight and question the Pilgrims.

7 – At Any Cost
Started automatically after completing To Walk a Dark Path. Head to the marked area and enter Strange Refuge, then kill the wildlife and investigate. Speak to and kill Acolyte of Rathma for his head, then complete the ritual.

8 – Turbulent Waters
Started automatically after completing At Any Cost. Head to Backwater and speak to the locals and buy the Cerrigar Mead. Search the marked area for Sev and speak to her.

9 – By Three They Come
Started automatically after completing Turbulent Waters. Speak to Sev and enter Halls of Dark Portent. Break open the door and kill the Blood Echo, then return to Father Dymus.

10 – Overstepping the Mark
Inside Zarbinzet, available after completing Drink to the Past and Good Riddance in Rotspill Delta. Buy the Thieves Guild Emblem from Mislan and bring it to Lyndon.

Fethis Wetlands

11 – Flesh and Blood
In Light’s Wane, available when first arriving. Head to the marked area and search the farmhouse, then go to the river to find the windchime. Hang the windchimes and kill the enemies, then return to the farmhouse.

Blightmarsh

12 – The Swamp’s Protection
In Timue’s Hovel, after progressing Act V. Head to the marked areas and search for Duraya, Baridan and Raldin. Afterwards head to the marked area and kill the bandits, then return to Timue.

13 – Venom of the Nangari
Pick up Curious Venom, which is dropped by Nangari enemies in Blightmarsh. Bring it to Timue.

Toxic Fens

14 – One Little Red Sprig
Pick up Budding Crimson Thorn, which can be found when searching herbs in Hawezar after meeting Timue. Bring it to her.

15 – Hungering Necrolyte’s Cache
Pick up Hungering Necrolyte’s Cache, which can be found from searchable corpses in Toxic Fens. Kill Nangari in the marked area to harvest death anima.

Forsaken Coast

16 – Necrotic Research
In Gulyas’ Hovel, after completing Poisoned Hearts. Head to the marked area and kill enemies for 1 Necrotic Flesh and 5 Snake Venom.

17 – Bad Blood
In Gulyas’ Hovel, after completing Necrotic Research. Find the bandit camp in the marked area and add the potion to the pot, then do the same for the cultist camp.

18 – Timeworn Effigy
Pick up Timeworn Timue Doll, which can be found by searching containers in Hawezar after meeting Timue. Bring it to her.

19 – A Debt Repaid
Inside Backwater, available when first arriving. Head to the marked area and search for Flinn, then kill him.

20 – Dead in the Water
Inside Backwater, available when first arriving. Head to the marked area and kill Drowned to collect 10 Salvaged Resources and help Tomaj burn 3 Fresh Corpses.

21 – Brought to Heel
Inside Backwater, available when first arriving. Head to the marked area and search for a red mushroom.

22 – The Greater Good
Inside Backwater, available after completing one of the previous three Backwater quests. Head to the marked area and search for the stolen supplies, then kill the bandits.

23 – Discretionary Spending
Inside Backwater, available after completing Act V and completing The Greater Good. Follow the quest markers outside to collect the supplies and meet the contacts, then kill the Backwater Traitors.

24 – Bait the Trap
Inside Backwater, available after completing Discretionary Spending. Follow the quest markers to the 3 ambush locations and kill the Backwater Traitors.

25 – Dead to Rights
Started automatically after completing Bait the Trap. Enter Backwater Storage Cellar and kill the traitor.

The Writhing Mire

26 – Tangled Memories
In Immurement of Thorns, available after visiting The Tree of Whispers during Act V. Find a puffball reed in the marked area, then head to the quest markers in Backwater.

27 – Growing Reminders
In Immurement of Thorns, available after completing Tangled Memories. Speak to Kres, then head to Timue. Kill Nangari Spitters in the marked area for 10 Marsh Snake Venom, then get the salve from Timue and take it to Kres.

28 – Unearthed Regrets
In Immurement of Thorns, available after completing Growing Reminders. Head to the marked area to find the Exsanguinated Remains, then burn them near Backwater.

29 – Heart’s Burden
Pick up Rusted Dagger, which can be found on the Child’s Corpse in The Swamp of Vanished Souls. The blue ghost that appears around the swamp will point in the direction of it. Go to Wejinhani and speak to Damen.

Rotspill Delta

30 – Traveler’s Superstition
In Bosun’s Woe, available after progressing Act V. Use the Hello gesture in front of the statue.

31 – Ire of the Witch
At Zurke’s Hut, available after progressing Act V. Head to the Sodden Graveyard and search for Samil, then return to Zurke.

32 – Perceived Threat
Started automatically after completing Ire of the Witch. Head to the marked area and kill the Experimental Corpse, then return.

33 – Song of Rot
Started automatically after completing Perceived Threat. Head to the marked area and kill the Blood Fungus Host, then head to Zurke and defend him.

34 – Drink to the Past
Pick up Kingsport Ale, which can be found in a chest outside Belfry Zakara dungeon after completing Dead to Rights for Lyndon. Bring it to Lyndon.

35 – Good Riddance
Pick up Forgotten Crossbow, which can be found on searchable corpses along the coast of Rotspill Delta after completing Dead to Rights for Lyndon. Bring it to Lyndon.

Dismal Foothills

36 – Gift of the Swamp
In Path of Desperation, available when first arriving. Head to the quest marker and kill the swarm.

37 – Fungal Remedies
Automatically started after completing Gift of the Swamp. Head to Pilgrim’s Cave and kill enemies to collect 10 Gano Fungus, then return and administer the medication.

38 – Heart of Mold
Automatically started after completing Fungal Remedies. Take the head and go to the marked area and speak with Zurke. Kill Nuroth the Vile Fang, then return to Zurke and Yolanda.

39 – Desperate Remedies
Inside Wejinhani, available when first arriving. Speak with the Elders, then search the pyres in the marked areas. Enter Light’s Refuge dungeon and kill Aldara for her amulet, then return.

40 – What Can’t Be Cured
In Dismal Foothills, available when first arriving. Head to the quest markers on the way to Wejinhani.

41 – A Question of Self
In Ruined Tower, available after completing Act V. Search the tower, then head to and enter Hungering Swamp. Kill the Shades of Grief, then leave and talk to her.

42 – Past Regrets
Started automatically after completing A Question of Self. Head to the quest marker to collect Taissa’s amulet, then meet her at the Tree of Whispers. Kill Nangari Oracles within the marked area for 4 Oracle Eyes, then return and enter Eldritch Conclave for the ritual.

43 – A Series of Steps
Started automatically after completing Past Regrets. Speak to Taissa in her tower, then watch the memories and kill the enemies as you progress through the areas. Kill the Whisper of Andariel.

44 – Closing the Book
Inside Wejinhani, available after conquering Eriman’s Pyre stronghold. Head to the quest marker and speak to Elder Akos, then search the area for 4 Ledger Pages.

45 – Glittering Abundance
Pick up Gem-Laden Geode, which can be found when searching Ore Veins in Dismal Foothills. Speak to Tungal in Ked Bardu, then Mislan in Zarbinzet.

46 – Chained Zakarum Repository
Pick up Chained Zakarum Repisitory, which is dropped from Fallen enemies in Dismal Foothills. Kill Fallen in the marked area to harvest lingering essence.

Ruins of Rakhat Keep

47 – Lost Legacy
In the Ruins, available after progressing Act V. Enter the Defiled Halls and kill the 3 corrupted Paladin spirits to collect their swords. Continue further in and perform the ritual, then kill Carthas.

Vyeresz

48 – Left Behind
In Vyeresz, available after conquering the Stronghold. Enter Shadowed Plunge dungeon and search for Derin.

49 – Lost Cause
In Vyeresz, available after conquering the Stronghold. Kill Cultists in the marked area and collect 10 Zakarum Prayer Amulets.
