Time to Decide is the 16th chapter in Detroit Become Human. This walkthrough will guide you through all the choices of the Time to Decide level for 100% completion.
Triggers automatically after completing The Nest Chapter.
Flowchart 100% Complete:
Here’s a quick overview of the 100% complete flowchart for “Time to Decide”.
Checkpoint: Inside Jericho
- Talk to Dying Android: On the side of the area stands a female android. Talk to her and she will shut down, after saying she was glad to have met you.
- Talk to Josh: Josh is by the wall and watches over a small child (android?).
- Talk to North: North sits on a box and bounces a ball against a wall. Just starting to talk to her increases reputation with her a little bit. During the talk do not choose the option YOU. She doesn’t want to talk about her past and it will decrease reputation with her. Do try to play it nice with North. She can be romanced later and also plays a vital role for the SURVIVORS trophy (everyone is alive at the end of the game). Romancing her is important for a peaceful game ending.
- Talk to Damaged Android: There’s a damaged android sitting on the floor, talk to it.
- Let There Be Light: Make a fire in all the barrels.
- Talk to Lucy: Lucy is the “leader” marked as a main objective behind the white plastic. She will heal Markus’s wounds and give him some blue blood to drink.
- Check Empty Crate: Before talking to Simon, check the crates by the wall. This also completes the main objective “Explore Jericho”. Markus now has the idea to get more spare parts to make the androids of Jericho stronger.
- Talk to Simon: Talk to Simon, the blonde android standing in the middle of the room and propose your plan.
This results in your main task “Markus Hatched a Plan” being finished and concludes the ‘Time to Decide’ Chapter.

Yes the child is an Android because there is an article about parenting and not having to be fully committed.

I have an 100% flowchart except for the first checkpoint, inside Jericho. I’ve played through the scene 5+ times by now but it’s always shown as locked. Is there any way to fix this glitch??

Its late, but I post my fix in case somebody looks for it. It is fix for “Time to decide” first checkpoint – “Inside Jericho” missing.
I play on steam.
tl;dr
Play and pass “The Nest” -> as soon as next chapter loads, pause game -> goto main menu -> in menu hit continue -> pause game again and check flowchart for profit -> [worked for me 1st time, but repeat maybe if necessary].

My full struggle: I wasted A LOT of time replaying “On the run”, because I thought you need specific outcome with character deaths for missing event in beggining of The Nest, which I found out to be “Analyze Environment” and a missing analysis on some dumb poster. Then I played The Nest perfectly as T-1000 Connor up until ending where I ^^^ software instability and saved hanginthereHank. Immediatelty when “Time to decide” loaded I paused and checked flowchart to see checkpoint missing. So out of flowchart I went as in tl;dr = main menu -> continue -> pause -> flowchart -> PROFIT. Then just to be sure I just played minimal “Time to decide” = crates -> Lucy -> Simon -> chapter end summary where checkpoint unlocked itself +20.
Good luck.

Bummer, Brooke. I’m not sure how you’d fix that. Perhaps if you start out on the previous chapter and play straight through both?

Yes, I played the nest, after that the time to decide loaded and immediately at the beginning I saw that the node was active. It is strange that the node was locked when first played the game. Then I finished the time to decide to save unlocked node.

FYI, there are 4x barrels in total to light-up for the “Let There Be Light” flowchart unlock.
