The Bridge is the 22nd chapter in Detroit Become Human. This walkthrough will guide you through all the choices of the The Bridge level for 100% completion.
Triggers automatically after completing the The Pirates’ Cove Chapter.
Flowchart 100% Complete:
Here’s a quick overview of the 100% complete flowchart for “The Bridge”:
Checkpoint: Ambassador Bridge
- Leave Car: After Connor gets out the car it’s on the bench straight in front of you. Be sure to pick it up before talking to Hank (no way back after that).
- Read “Mysterious Kamski”: After Connor gets out the car it’s on the bench straight in front of you. Be sure to pick it up before talking to Hank.
- Read “Markets Predict War”: After Connor gets out the car it’s on the bench straight in front of you. Be sure to pick it up before talking to Hank.
- Talk to Hank: Go talk to hank, he’s sitting on a bank in plain sight. You have 3 dialogue choices here.
- [REQUIREMENT: PHOTO SEEN IN ‘RUSSIAN ROULETTE’] –> Discuss Photo: Pick PERSONAL QUESTION > PHOTO. Only available if you looked at the photo on Hank’s kitchen table in Russian Roulette you will be able to trigger this dialogue. Hank▼
- Discuss Russian Roulette: Instead of talking about the photo choose PERSONAL QUESTION > SUICIDE.
- Dialogue Set 1:
PERSONAL QUESTION Hank –
–> PHOTO Hank▼
–> SUICIDE Hank –
STOP DRINKING Hank –
BEFORE Hank –
GO BACK Hank – - Discuss rA9: In the second set of dialogues you can choose [rA9], SHOCK, SYSTEMS, SOFTWARE. For this task choose [rA9].
- Dialogue Set 2:
RA9 Hank –
SHOCK Hank –
SYSTEMS Hank –
SOFTWARE Hank – - Dialogue Set 3:
RATIONAL Hank –
DEVIANTS Hank –
IRONIC Hank –
COLD Hank▼, Software Instability▼ - Dialogue Set 4 (Note: depending on whether you are friends or hostile with Connor you may get an additional set of dialogues after this which is pretty much the 4th dialogue set repeated):
COLD Hank▼, Software Instability▼
AGGRESSIVE Hank▼, Software Instability▼
DEFENSIVE Hank –
NEUTRAL Hank ▲
–> LIE Hank▼
–> TRUTH Software Instability ▲, Hank ▲ - Hank Draws Gun: Regardless of the dialogues so far, Hank always draws his gun. After he draws his gun, in the next set of dialogues you have 4 choices that count as one flowchart task each!
- Show Fear: YES Software Instability ▲, Hank –
- Show No Fear: NO Hank▼, Software Instability▼
- Remain Logical: NOT ALIVE Hank▼, Software Instability▼
- Be Cold: LOGICAL Hank▼, Software Instability▼
- Dialogue Set 6:
DEFY Hank▼
HANK’S ANGER Hank –
IRONIC Hank –
NOTHING Hank – - Hank is Placated: If by this point in the game you are friends with Hank he won’t shoot Connor (reputation status can be checked in flowchart). This counts your accumulted reputation across the entire playthrough so far, not just this level. Easy ways to boost rep is by saving Hank in ‘The Nest’ and letting the Tracis get away in ‘The Eden Club’ and generally showing an interest in him and being supportive.
–> Hank Left Connor Alone (Ending) - Hank is Hostile: If by this point in the game Hank is hostile he will shoot Connor (reputation status can be checked in flowchart). This counts your accumulted reputation across the entire playthrough so far, not just this level. Easy ways to reduce rep is by going after the Rupert (not saving Hank) in ‘The Nest’ and shooting the Tracis in ‘The Eden Club’ and generally having Connor die multiple times and being cold to Hank.
–> Hank Shot Connor (Ending)
The Bridge Endings
- Hank Left Connor Alone: If by this point in the game you are friends with Hank he won’t shoot Connor (reputation status can be checked in flowchart). This counts your accumulted reputation across the entire playthrough so far, not just this level. Easy ways to boost rep is by saving Hank in ‘The Nest’ and letting the Tracis get away in ‘The Eden Club’ and generally showing an interest in him and being supportive.
- Hank Shot Connor: If by this point in the game Hank is hostile he will shoot Connor (reputation status can be checked in flowchart).
All done! This concludes the The Bridge Chapter.

I’ve been trying to get “Remain Logical” while killing Conner (for the I’ll Be Back trophy) but even when I pick the option I’m still getting “Be cold” on the flowchart. Anyone else having this problem? Or can I not “Remain Logical” while having hank shoot him?
Kali says
It is based on your relationship with Hank going into that chapter I believe. I had a hostile relationship with him going in and in the end he shot Connor. I had chosen to chase after the deviant instead of save Hank in The Nest, I had killed the Tracies in the Eden Club instead of sparing them, I had chosen every dialogue option that annoyed him and didn’t pick the ones that improved the relationship unless I had no choice. You need to play it from the beginning of the story when Hank and Connor first meet instead of just replaying that one particular chapter because it will have the relationship saved as the prior play of that chapter and not a damaged one.
Scott says
When I played through this level, I had a tense relationship with Hank. And it seems that with the question prompt after Hank pulls the gun the X and O responses for the flowchart are reversed.
Raoul says
Don’t worry, when you choose the “evil” path with Hank the option X and O are reversed
Kali says
If you killed the Tracies in the Eden Club chapter then you get a different question right before Hank pulls out the gun, prompting different responses being disgusted and cold. I assume they evoke the same responses as if you told the truth or lied after letting them go.
inuship says
the 4 options for the dialog are effected by more than just the one part, for be cold you have to continuously pick cold options for all of the dialog and then you can either pick not alive or logical, if you didnt pick cold options before that you will only get remain logical
Kim says
I got Remain Logical by doing the following:
Firstly:
– Kill Girls at Eden Club (shot one, the other killed herself)
– Be hostile with Hank
After Hank shoves Connor he says
“Did you feel anything when that girl killed herself, Connor? Or did you not give a shit one way or the other?”
– COLD
“But are you afraid to die, Connor?”
– LOGICAL
“What would happen if I pull this trigger? Oblivion? Android heaven?”
– NOTHING
Anom says
I didn’t save hank and shot the girls at club but still hank didn’t shoot me lucky I was at a tense relationship with him
RB says
I have been replaying the chapters to make hank talk about the photo and no success. Even tho I went to Russian roulette chapter and played it twice
Liv says
You have to replay the game from the Russian roulette chapter until the bridge. I don’t think your choices save if not.
Kelllrath says
is it my impression or, if hank shot on connor, after that you can’t change hanks relation?
same as North after became lovers? (that it make sense after all).
