Proof of your efforts on the Io. Bring this to Asher Mir in the Rupture to increase your reputation with him.
Obtained: Random Loot Chests, High Value Targets, Public Events, Challenges, Golden Chests on IO. The best way to farm this is through public events. Winning a public event always drops a chest which contains an IO Token. You can also obtain chests for defeating majors around IO. Collecting the 9 Golden Chests on IO rewards you with 27 IO Tokens and is the fastest method to get them.
Usage: Redeem with Asher Mir in the Rupture to increase Reputation. Handing 20 IO Tokens to him will give you a legendary (purple) engram.
*NOTE – When farming for this item it is best to use the Hunter Class using the Sublass ‘Nightstalker’ and using the perk “Keen Scout”. This will add the consumables to the mini-map when you are in close proximity to the item.
