Chapter 3: Course Correction contains 30 Collectible Locations in Dead Space Remake. This walkthrough is updated for the PS5 Remake version and will guide you to all collectibles in Chapter 3: Course Correction in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included: Logs, Schematics, Weapons, Weapon Upgrades, Suit Upgrades, Nodes, Side Missions, Chapter-Specific Trophies, Marker Fragments.
Everything located on the USG Ishimura is unmissable until the Point of No Return at the end of Chapter 11: Alternate Solutions, except for a small number of action-dependent logs that only trigger when doing certain actions at specific story points. The guide will list everything when it first becomes available in an efficient order, but if you miss anything you can go through the Ishimura when you have full access in Chapter 11. Everything in Chapter 9: Dead On Arrival is missable, so be sure to collect everything during this chapter. Marker Fragments are only available in New Game+. You can still grab missing Collectibles in New Game Plus, all progress carries over.

Chapter 3: Course Correction Collectibles
Log 37 – It’s Mine
Sitting in between the two catwalks of Main Hangar Bay, can be grabbed with Kinesis. This is where Peng was located in the PS3 version, instead this log will direct you to its new location.
Voelker’s Rig (Item for Side Mission 2 – You Are Not Authorized)
Float all the way along the left path of the Flight Deck, across from the Cargo Lift where you need to go. Floating over here by an oxygen tank will be the rig.
Log 38 – Growth
After arriving at Engineering, at the end of the first hallway where you will encounter a Necromorph.
Weapon Upgrade 2 – Heat Accumulator (Plasma Cutter)
Purchase from Shop for 11,000 Credits.
Weapon Upgrade 3 – Kinetic Autoloader (Pulse Rifle)
Purchase from Shop for 11,000 Credits.
Log 39 – Temple’s Log 01
On a seat in the Control Room, next to the Shop.
Log 40 – Engine Diagnostics
Story-related. Automatically when interacting with the Diagnostic Report.
Weapon 5 – Ripper
Head downstairs into Machine Shop and the Ripper will be on the ground in front of you.
Log 41 – His Own Teeth
Enter the bathroom right next to the Ripper and it will be in front of you.
Side Mission 1 – Scientific Methods Step 3
Enter the Calibration Room and watch the recording of Nicole. Note: if this room is locked, you must redo Step 1 / Step 2 of this quest (you can go back there now by tracking it from the side mission tab and pressing to be shown the path). In some cases it may be stuck at objective “Follow Nicole’s Hologram” if you didn’t watch the full hologram sequence in the Emergency Room of Chapter 2, but you can go back to the hologram and press the blue activate-button and it should update the objective.
Log 42 – Temple’s Log 02
After using the moving platform to cross the gap to the southern part of Refueling Control Stations and fighting the wave of Necromorphs, walk around to the knocked-over locker next to the locked room to find this.
Log 43 – Kendra is Alive
Story-related. Automatically after collecting Fuel Station Keycard.
Node 10
Inside Fuel Management. Requires Fuel Station Keycard to access.
Log 44 – Engines are Refueled
Story-related. Automatically after refueling both engines.
Weapon Upgrade 4 – Ricochet Tracer (Ripper)
Purchase from Shop for 11,000 Credits.
Log 45 – Chaos
After using an elevator, before entering Decontamination Room, it’s found in an open locker at the end of the hallway, next to an upgrade bench.
Schematics 3 – Medium Med Pack
After going through the Decontamination Room quarantine in an open locker.
Node 11
From the schematic go through the next door, take the left path, you find it at the very end of the hallway between some overgrown matter.
Log 46 – Rig Transcript
From the last location it’s at the opposite end of the hallway, on the floor in front of a bloody hole, just before entering the Centrifuge.
Log 47 – Centrifuge is Online
Story-related. Automatically after turning on the centrifuge.
Log 48 – They Found an Artifact
Story-related. Automatically after returning to Control Room.
Weapon 6 – Flamethrower
Stuck to a corpse on the wall in the hallway leading to Fuel Storage.
Log 49 – Temple’s Log 03
In the small room next to the elevator in Fuel Storage.
Node 12
On the wall in the same room.
Schematics 4 – Ripper Blades
After going down the first elevator, head inside the open room by the second elevator and it will be on a box.
Node 13
Inside the Engine Room, in a small room underneath the stairs.
Schematics 5 – Flamethrower Fuel
Inside the Engine Room, next to the Primary Engine panel that you will need to activate.
Log 50 – Go to the Bridge
Story-related. Automatically after powering on the engine.
Log 51 – Nicole?
Story-related. Automatically after approaching Control Room.
Weapon Upgrade 5 – Gellified Hydrazine (Flamethrower)
Purchase from Shop for 11,500 Credits.

Everything available in the Shop will stay available for the whole game, I’ve just listed them when they first become available.

didnt spawn for me either, seems to be a bug with spawns in open lockers
luckily i had saved a bunch of times, reloading a save to before I interacted with the system diagnostics and then going straight to the centrifuge from there rather than the refuelling stations first made it spawn for me

There seems to be a few logs (especially ones you get as calls from your colleagues) that can glitch out on the post-release patches. Under normal circumstances they should trigger, but sometimes it won’t trigger now. Hopefully it’s something that’s fixed with future updates, but at the very least it shouldn’t be a concern for getting the trophy as you only need 150/188.

Log-44 Not added to database in my first run too. I see potential 2 reasons – the fuel pump on the other side I activated with Lights on but in vacuum conditions or I’ve load a save after activating it but before the dialog has started – so after load game somehow skipped it. I watched some YT movies and now will try with lights out or – better- activate the far one first then activate the closer to control room on return

Update: confirmed – loading an auto-save made by game after second fuel pump is connected will not initiate Log 44 dialog – in effect this unlockable will be missing on from the list

Log 43 unlocked normally the first time for me after obtaining the fuel keycard, but when I reloaded to my last save which I made after obtaining the keycard Kendra never called me no matter how long I waited. So now I’m missing Log 43. Really hate how glitchy this game can be with logs.
