My Mailman Was A Zombie! is a Lost and Found Quest in Dead Island 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the My Mailman Was A Zombie! Lost and Found mission.
Starting Location: Bel-Air
Counts Towards Quest Completion in Region: Bel-Air
Requirement: Finished the Main Story & Finished Side Quest: #Clickbait
Reward: Raven (Unique Rifle), 2000 XP
Mission Info: Neither rain, nor snow, nor zombies will stop a good postal service worker from completing their rounds! You found a delivery schedule with details of a package containing a firearm. Now you’re retracing that delivery route to find this kick-ass weapon!
Objectives:
- Follow the mailman’s paper trail to a kick-ass new weapon!
- Slay the Zombified Mailman!
- Swipe the Mailman’s Keys
- Pick up your package!
Starting Location: My Mailman Was A Zombie!
This quest is not available from the start. Come back to Bel-Air after finishing the Main Story. You must also have finished Side Quest: #Clickbait in Bel-Air. After this a Journal spawns behind the delivery truck in Bel-Air, Alpine Dr street. Pick it up to start the quest. There’s a locked weapon crate next to it that requires the Mailman’s Keys to open, which is the goal of this quest.
Follow the mailman’s paper trail to a kick-ass new weapon!
You have to find 3 mail packages now. They are all in fixed locations at the entrances of villas around Bel-Air. Go to the packages and interact with 
/ 
. If done correctly the interaction button disappear and your character says something. Whichever of the three mail package you visit last will spawn the Zombiefied Mailmain who holds the key. It’s best to go in the order outlined below.
Mail Package #1
Outside the “GOAT Pen” villa in the south of Bel-Air. Check on the right of the main entrance door, just downstairs from the parking space where some supercars are.
Mail Package #2
At the locked gate of a villa in the west of Bel-Air.
Mail Package #3
In front of the garage at the very first house where you entered Bel-Air at the start of the story. In the very north. If you already picked up the previous two packages you won’t get an interaction prompt here and the Zombiefield Mail spawns right away. He’s the big guy puking acid at you.
Slay the Zombified Mailman!
Defeat Wayne the Mailman at the third Package Location. You can easily melee him from behind, when he goes for a punch dodge back and repeat. Avoid his acid.
Swipe the Mailman’s Keys
The Mailman’s Keys are dropped by the Zombiefied Mailman. Pick them up.
Pick up your package!
Return to where the quest started and use the Mailman’s Keys on the locked weapon box behind the delivery truck. It gives you a unique Rifle called “Raven”.
This finishes My Mailman Was A Zombie! Lost and Found quest in Dead Island 2.
