Dead Island 2 Jo's Rainy Day Stash Walkthrough

Jo’s Rainy Day Stash is a Lost and Found Quest in Dead Island 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Jo’s Rainy Day Stash Lost and Found mission.

Requirement: Finished Main Quest #14: The Red Mist to reach Venice Beach
Reward: Primed Crowbar (Unique Weapon), 2000 XP
Mission Info: You found a discarded phone. The staff of Jo’s Rentals were speculating about the existence of their boss’ rainy-day stash near Venice Beach. While you’re in the eye of the Hell-A storm, follow the paper trail to Jo’s kick-ass stash!

Starting Location: Jo’s Rainy Day Stash

Jo’s Rainy Day Stash starts by picking up a journal in “Jo’s Rentals”, the building with a shark figure in front of it. You have to smash the windows to enter. Inside, on the left you find Journal: Jo’s Secret Stash and on the right Jo’s Staff Room Key. Pick up both of these.

Follow the paper trail to Jo’s kick-ass weapon

Now we must find two more journals.

Journal: Jo’s Beloved Baby
Head south down the street until you find another shop called “Jo’s Surf & Skate Rentals”. Inside, on the cashier’s counter is this journal.

Journal: Jo’s Final Farewell
Enter the parking lot behind the previous location. A unique zombie Jo’s Shambling Body will appear. Defeat him and loot the journal he drops.

You have Jo’s keys; now go find and break open Jo’s secret stash

Now all that’s left is opening the stash. You can open the map and zoom in, then you will already see the stash icon marked on the map. Pin it ( / ) to see a waypoint. The next building north of the parking lot is called Marla’s Tapas & Tacos. The stash is on the roof. You must climb up via the white parked truck in the alley, from there jump onto the roof, then climb onto the white roof and go through the fence (beware of explosive trap at the fence). The stash is there at the end of the roof. Two zombies also spawn but defeating them isn’t needed. Your reward is a purple-rarity Crowbar.
