Beacon of Hope is a Side Quest in Dead Island 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Beacon of Hope side mission.

Mission Info: Captain Vixen’s mission was a success! A Space Fox spotlight now lights up Hollywood Boulevard as a signal to survivors. First mate Sebastian is also feeling better, having proved to be useful to his idol.
Objectives:
- Set a course for the Old Dynasty Chinese Theater and find Sarah
- Kill ’em all!
- Rendezvous with Sarah
- Head into the Metro to find the Space Fox spotlight filter
- Search the Metro station ticket office for the Space Fox spotlight filter
- Beam back up to Sarah with the Space Fox spotlight filter
- Fireworks weren’t part of the plan! Check that Sarah’s OK!
- Defend Sarah! Engage and eliminate the zombies!
- Mop ’em up!
- Install the Space Fox filter on the spotlight
- Check in with Sarah
- Deliver the good news to Sebastian!
Starting Location: Beacon of Hope
Set a course for the Old Dynasty Chinese Theater and find Sarah
After talking to Sebastian follow the quest marker to the Theater to find Sarah.
Kill ’em all!
Some zombies will be between you and Sarah, kill them all.
Rendezvous with Sarah
After killing all zombies, just talk to Sarah.
Head into the Metro to find the Space Fox spotlight filter
Now follow the quest marker into the Metro.
Search the Metro station ticket office for the Space Fox spotlight filter
You will end up in front of a closed door, to open it you have to destroy three fuse boxes.
To find the fuse boxes, look above the door and follow the cables to find each fuse box. Every box will be right around the office.
The first box is opposite the door to the office.
The second box is inside the office, shoot it through the window.
The third box is opposite the window above you.
Once you shot all fuse boxes, the door to the office will now be open. Destroy the box to find the spotlight.
Beam back up to Sarah with the Space Fox spotlight filter
Now just get out of the Metro.
Fireworks weren’t part of the plan! Check that Sarah’s OK!
Head back to Sarah.
Defend Sarah! Engage and eliminate the zombies!
Kill the first wave of zombies to proceed.
Mop ’em up!
A second wave of zombies will appear. Kill them again.
Install the Space Fox filter on the spotlight
After killing all zombies, install the filter on the spotlight.
Check in with Sarah
Now talk to Sarah one last time.
Deliver the good news to Sebastian!
Finally you can go back to Sebastian and talk to him.
This finishes Beacon of Hope Side Quest in Dead Island 2.
