Days Gone – What to do when Bike lands in Water

April 26, 2019 by PowerPyx 6 Comments

In Days Gone you might wonder what to do when your bike lands in water.

There is a very easy solution: simply respawn the bike by hovering over it on the map and press the Square-Button to respawn it on land.

This way you can respawn your bike anywhere! It will respawn close to you in a safe place (will be marked on world map and minimap). You can also retrieve your Bike at camps if you left it behind somewhere, by simply talking to the Mechanic Merchant. Respawning it directly through the world map is much faster though.

So don’t worry, you don’t have to walk back to camp to recover it.

Never had it say that before. Maybe the bike’s health dropped to 0% and it’s completely broken? Sounds more like a glitch though. The less ideal alternative is to run back to a camp and talk to the mechanic to retrieve the bike (costs some money).

I also got the ‘cannot recover in current state’ message. Bike’s at 50% and I was stuck on that island in Crater Lake. :,)

If you go to the mechanic merchant and get them to repair and fuel it they will automatically recover the bike for you

It just happened to me. And how I did it was I walk toward the bike as close as possible without drowning. Then I get the map out and select a town for fast travel. Ta-da!
