Bugged the Hell Out is a Main Story Mission in Days Gone. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the “Bugged the Hell Out” Main Quest.
Objectives:
- Ride to the Nero Checkpoint
- Restore Power to the Nero Mobile Medical Unit
- Find Fuel for the Generator
- Start the Generator
- Locate Sterile Bandages
- Take Sterile Bandages to Boozer
Bugged the Hell Out Starting Location
This mission will unlock after the end of Drifters On the Mountain. This mission starts in Cascade. This mission serves as an introduction to Nero Checkpoints, a collectible strand in the game.
Ride to the Nero Checkpoint
With our new excuse for a bike, Deacon decides to ride to the nearest Nero Checkpoint to look for bandages and medicine for Boozer.
Restore Power to the Nero Mobile Medical Unit
The power of the medical unit is down. To restore it we need to find the generator and a can of fuel to start it. As you look for both, it would be preferable to climb the medical unit and disable the loudspeakers or shoot them down from spotlight posts. If disabled, they won’t attract unwanted Freakers once the generator is working again. To know if you’ve disabled all loudspeakers in the checkpoint area, Deacon will say something like “I think that’s all of them”. If he doesn’t, it means that some loudspeakers are still wired to either the medical unit or the spotlight posts and you need to cut/shoot them down.
Find Fuel for the Generator
After finding the generator, we need to find fuel. There’s a can of fuel on top of a tow truck found in the middle of the road. With your can of fuel, run back to the generator to fill its tank up.
Start Generator
Now that the generator is filled with fuel, press to start it.
Locate Sterile Bandages
Now enter the unit and open the white chest to find sterile bandages and a Nero Injector. The Nero Injector allows you to receive a boost in Health, Stamina or Focus depending on which one you choose. For now your priority should be to increase either your Health or Stamina.
Take Sterile Bandages to Boozer
Once collected, ride back to the safehouse to give your newly found bandages to Boozer.
This concludes Bugged the Hell Out mission in Days Gone and transitions seamlessly to the mission “No Starving Patriots”.
