Objective: Force Anna Hamill to drop her police investigation

Location: Kabuki Market

Anna Hamill is a blue-blooded cop, through and through. The kind you’d expect to see in some NCPD promo. Beautiful, smart, honest to a fault. In other words, a really bad fir for Night City.

Her NCPD colleagues are another story. They all have back problems from sitting on fat wallets.

This current case Hamill’s working has them all breaking out in hives. She’s digging into the smuggling rocket in Kabuki Market, which – if she makes any real headway – means bad biz for her cop buddies’ finances. They want someone from outside the precinct to nip this thing in the bud.

Normally that’s where I’d leave it, but I wanna add one more thing. I kinda feel bad for the girl. Rather she not flatline if you can avoid it. Convince her to skip town, or drop the case and make a career change at least.

Starting Location: Woman Of La Mancha

Ask Around The Market About Anna Hamill [Optional]

From the entrance to the market, head down the stairs and talk with the individual who will walk away from the food stand and sit on a chair, in the centre of the market. Choose to transfer the picture to Imad:

Dialogue:

• [Transfer Picture] Looking for Anna Hamill.
• Not the safest of jobs.

Choose to pay them the money and get the information out of Imad.

Dialogue:

• €$ 600 €$ Here, Now talk.
• Not getting money out of me.

This is the easiest way to get the information and if you are a Nomad Imad will help you without needing to pay him. Alternatively, you can also bribe a local prostitute or see the local Ripperdoc. Imad will then tell you where Anna is.

Find Anna Hamill

Anna can be found just off the side of the market, inside the room with the hotel sign above it.

Confront Anna Hamill

Once you reach the door, pay the money to rent a room for the night and access the hotel. Head inside and up the stairs to the top floor of the hotel. Enter the door straight ahead if you have enough points into your Technical Ability. Upon confronting her, stay still and don’t move or she will attack.

If you are a Nomad you can play out the conversation using Nomad dialogue options, at which point she will stop attacking and leave town alive.

Alternatively, she will attack you no matter the dialogue options, unless you tell her that her superiors put a bounty on her head, which can be achieved by choosing the following dialogue options:

Dialogue:

• Here to warn you.
• Just want to help you.
• Your buddies at the NCPD.

Leave The Area

No matter what option you pick, once you have dealt with Anna leave the market and surrounding area to complete the Gig.
