Welcome to America, Comrade is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Welcome to America, Comrade Gig (Side Quest).

Objective: Place GPS tracker on Mikhail Akulov’s car
Location: Kabuki port
Details: When a top Soviet fixer, Mikhail AKulov, landed in NC, it generated a lot of buzz in the biz. So far, says he’s just in town to cut a small-time deal. The USSR’s premier fixer in town to personally handle minor league gigs at enny stakes? Yeah, can’t say I’m convinced either. So what’s his game? Why Night City? My client needs answers to these questions and more. They want to follow his every step on NC soil and that’s why you need to plant a GPS transmitter on our dear comrade’s car. And keep it clean and quiet.

Find the container with the vehicle

Either kill, or stealth, your way through the docks area. If you want to do it stealthily, there’s a breakable fence in the north-east corner of the docks that requires 6 Technical Ability to open. This way you can cut past most enemies at the entrance. Make sure you remote-disable the Cameras (via Quickhack). The other enemies are easiest to take out with a Silence Sniper Rifle from afar, or distract them using the environment for stealth melee takedowns.

The vehicle container locations is at the south of the docks, past all of the enemies. See the location image below (blue open container):
