Cyberpunk 2077 The Ripperdoc Walkthrough

The Ripperdoc is the 4th main story mission in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives, paths, dialogues, choices and endings of The Ripperdoc Main Job.

Area: Watson
Quest Giver: Jackie
Requirement: Complete The Rescue
Reward: Kiroshi Optics MK.1 and Ballistic Coprocessor cyberware
Mission Info: If you’re on the hunt for chrome, you won’t find a better ripper than Viktor. Well, all right, maybe you could, but you sure as hell can’t afford them, ese. Not like Vik can afford you, either, but you’re lucky he’s got a soft spot – says you’ve got a good heart, like him. But before we pay ol’ Vik a visit, we gotta decide what comes next.

Objectives:

• Meet with Jackie.
• Talk to Jackie
• Call up your car
• Get in the driver’s seat
• Drive to the ripperdoc
• Meet with the ripperdoc
• Talk to Viktor
• Take a seat
• Install new cyberware
• Scan Viktor

Starting Location: The Ripperdoc

Meet with Jackie

Leave your apartment, then follow the objective markers to meet up with Jackie down by the road. On the way you’ll be called by Regina Jones, who is the fixer for the Watson area and can give you jobs to do later on.  On the way down you run into a character named Coach Fred, who offers to let you fight his robot and you gain the Side Job chain Beat on the Brat.

Just past him opposite the elevator you can go down is a gun store, and you will be automatically given the Side Job The Gun, for getting V’s gun back.

Head down the elevator, and at this point, you are able to somewhat explore the city if you wanted to. When ready to continue, go over to the food stall and talk to Jackie.

Talk to Jackie

This conversation with Jackie will have the first instance of a Lifepath related dialogue choice. You want to make sure to select these when they show up (they are always optional, so you don’t miss out on other dialogue by selecting them) because you need to select at least 10 during a playthrough for the Stanislavski’s Method trophy/achievement.

Dialogue:

• [Sit] Said you had a surprise for me?
  • Watcha eatin’? > Optional
• What’s the job exactly?
  • STREETKID: Dex ain’t outta the picture? (You can reselect this option to hear both dialogue choices stemming from it if you want).
    • This is it Jackie, our big break.
    • Something about this stinks.
  • How’d you manage this? > Optional
• Don’t see why not. > Both options have the same outcome
• Wait, why me?
• Not really. > Both options have the same outcome
• Know my way around fixers.
• [Take] Thanks.
• [Stand] Let’s go. > End dialogue

Call up your car

Once the conversation is finished Jackie hands you back your car key, then you press to call it to your current location.

Get in the driver’s seat

Get in your car when it arrives.

Drive to the ripperdoc

Follow the minimap marker a short drive away to reach the location of the ripperdoc, and park in the marked spot.

Meet with the ripperdoc

Head inside and down the stairs to the lower area to reach the ripperdoc location.

Talk to Viktor

When inside, talk to Viktor.

Dialogue:

• Looking to upgrade.
  • Heard of Dexter DeShawn? > Optional
• Pay you once the job’s done.
• $21000 Got the money > There is almost no chance you will have this money at this point in the game.

Take a seat

When prompted, sit in the chair.

Install new cyberware

Dialogue:

• [Jack in]
  • Kiroshi! That’s top-shelf tech! > Optional

You now select the two cyberware options from the menu, for the Ocular System and Hands slots.

• [Place arm]
  • What’s new in the life of Viktor? > Optional
• Feels like I’m at the dentist’s. > Timed dialogue, both options have the same outcome
• Nothing.  > Timed dialogue
• Better than ever. > Both options have the same outcome
• That’s it?

Scan Viktor

When prompted, scan Viktor with your scanner to see the new options the cyberware mod gives to you.

Dialogue:

• Thanks, Vik.
  • What about the virus? > Optional
• [Stand] Thanks, Vik. You’re the best. > End dialogue
  • What’s this?> Optional

After the conversation is finished, you will have completed this mission. You will also gain the Paid in Full Side Job which is for paying off your debt to Viktor.

 

This finishes The Ripperdoc main quest in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). Now the next quest The Ride becomes available.
