Cyberpunk 2077 Talent Academy Gig Walkthrough

Talent Academy is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC. This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Talent Academy Gig.

Area: Dogtown
Quest Giver: Mr Hands
Requirement: Gig received during Main Quest 6: Get It Together, after meeting Mr. Hands and contacting Solomon Reed.
Reward: XP / Street Cred
Gig Type: Can you believe some people avoid paying their taxes? Shocking, I know. Someone needs to put a stop to it. Who is guilty of such heinous crimes, you might ask? Sports scouts who fly in form all across the globe to the center run by Fiona Vargas. They sign contracts with promising athletes, wire sizable transfers and dodge taxes while they’re at it. Our client isn’t thrilled. You’ll be acquiring any data linked to Fiona’s clients and their contracts. Getting in won’t be easy, which is why you’ll have the help of my netrunner near the site. • Talk to Hands’ contact.
• Enter the exhibition hall.
• Find Fiona’s office.
• Talk to the receptionist (optional)
• Talk to the bartender (optional)
• Follow the security guard (optional)
• Place your hand on the scanner (optional)
• Find Fiona’s office.
• Download the data.
• Talk to the kid (optional).
• Download the data.
• Talk to Fiona.
• Download the data.
• Leave the center.

Starting Location: Talent Academy

Gig: Talent Academy starts in Pacifica, Dogtown

Meet with Hands’ contact.

As the Gig starts you are tasked with meeting Hands’ contact, approach him to advance the objective.

Talk to Hands’ contact.

Speak with the contact and he will provide you with details of the Gig and a cover you are given to use whilst you are in the building.

Enter the exhibition hall.

 

From the contact, turn around and head left to a door with a touchpad and camera just above it. Once you are scanned in, head inside and use the elevator.

Find Fiona’s office.

As you arrive in the building’s reception, start by talking to the receptionist.

Talk to the receptionist. (optional)

Should you choose to engage with the receptionist, exhaust the two dialogue options which have no outcome regardless, other than saying you can have a drink at the bar in the next room.

This opens up another optional objective when you reach the bar area.

Talk to the bartender. (optional)

Another optional objective is to talk to the bartender. Here you can use this opportunity to find the location of Fiona’s office, which is loacted downstairs.

Choose:

• Does Fiona ever show up here?

Once you choose this, a guy sat next to you will come over and quiz you on why you are there and what for. Regardless of the answers, you will be escorted away by a security guard for security checks.

Note: Even if you do the optional objectives it will result in you getting caught and guards attacking you. You might as well skip this and run straight past the stage to the elevator and ride the elevator down. It doesn’t change the outcome.

Follow the security guard. (optional)

If you interacted with the guy at the bar, follow the guard into the Personnel Only area.

Should you choose not to, after a while, the area becomes hostile, so be prepared for a gun fight with a few enemies.

Place your hand on the scanner. (optional)

Similar to the previous objective, at this point, you will now be pushed into a gunfight with the guards and other enemies in the building as the area will become hostile, so be ready to hit back.

Find Fiona’s office.

From the hand reader room, across to the right (if you chose the optional objectives) head through the door and down the stairs into a room that looks like a laboratory. Make your way through the doors to eventually Fiona’s office and head inside.

Download the data. / Talk to the kid. (optional)

 

Once inside there is another optional objective to speak to a kid who will be going through a drawer on Fiona’s desk.

Approach him and engage in dialogue. He will reveal where Fiona’s computer is, which is on the same desk the kid was at as you entered the room. You can meet the kid again later at one of the merchant stalls in the stadium (in the north of Dogtown).

Proceed to steal the data, only to be locked out and see Fiona enter the room.

Talk to Fiona.

Talk to Fiona and tell her to give you access to her computer, using the available dialogue options. She reluctantly does this and gives you access to her terminal.

Download the data.

Now, access Fiona’s computer and take the data as required.

Leave the center.

Leave the area, using the elevator at the end of the room, just past where Fiona is standing.

As you leave the elevator and the area, the Gig will complete and you will receive a call from Mr Hands.
