Small Man, Big Mouth is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Small Man, Big Mouth Side Quest.
Area: Heywood (The Glen)
Quest Giver: Kirk
Requirement: Complete Side Job “Heroes“, then requires being Street Kid lifepath
Reward: XP / Street Cred XP
Mission Info: Kirk called to say he had a job for you? That this time everything’ll go smooth? Totally safe, zero risk, and big payout? What’re you waiting for? Sound like nothing could possibly go wrong!

- Talk to Johnny [Optional]
- Talk to Kirk
- Go to the meeting with Kirk
- Talk to Kirk
- Defeat the guards
- See what’s inside the truck
- Return to Kirk
- Confront the gangoons

Meet Kirk at El Coyote Cojo
After completing Side Job “Heroes“, if you are playing STREETKID Life Path Kirk will call you and let you know he has another job for you, and as you to meet him again at El Coyote Cojo.
Talk to Johnny [Optional]
On your way up the stairs in the bar, you can stop and talk to Johnny if you want.
Talk to Kirk
Go to the same table as you first met Kirk at the start of the game and sit down to talk to him. He says he’s got a new job for you stealing some high tech optics. Agree to do the job, then he’ll give you a location to meet him in Arroyo.
Go to the meeting with Kirk
Kirk is waiting by a fence across the street from the megabuilding.
Talk to Kirk
Talk to Kirk and he’ll tell you about the items in the nearby garage you’re trying to steal. He’s going to keep watch here by the fence while you wait.
There is a speech check for 10 COOL you can do if you want, but it won’t actually matter at the end of the job.
Defeat the guards
In the garage area there will be 5 marked guards you need to deal with before you can search the van. Two out in the parking lot you can take out from a distance fairly easily, but shooting any of the ones inside will likely alert the others, so take those out quick.
See what’s inside the truck
Once the guards are dealt with, open the back of the van and grab the item out of the case in the back.
Return to Kirk
Go back over to where Kirk was waiting by the fence.
Confront the gangoons
Turns out Kirk was set up, and his tip about the goods was just to get him to come out so these guys could shoot him.
After some dialogue, you will get a timed response choice. If you choose the second option then they’ll basically make fun of you and leave you be, otherwise, if you choose the first option or pull your weapons they attack you. Take out the three of them to finish up the job, though be careful because these guys are for some reason pretty tough for the point in the game you can get this job at, so if you are too close when they start shooting they can take you down quick.
