Panam Palmer Romance: This is Panam’s 1st Side Job and part of the questline that leads to her romance. She can only be romanced with a male body type (unavailable if you have female body type). The important romance decisions are marked red throughout these walkthroughs.
Panam’s Side Quests:
Starting Location: Riders on the Storm
Meet with Panam
NOTE: There are a few ways you can have this Job outright fail and lock you out of the rest of the Side Job chain / Panam’s romance / the trophy/ achievement. It’s recommended you follow the objectives at all times to make sure you don’t fail the Job.
When ready to proceed, meet with Panam at the Aldecaldos camp.
During the initial dialogue with Panam be sure to choose:
- “We’re chooms, that’s why.” –> important for Romance (don’t tell her you do it for money)
Follow Panam
Follow Panam through the camp to meet with the other Aldecaldos members.
Lean against the car
Interact with the car to lean on it and talk to the group.
Respond how you want, then Mitch comes over and gives you a shard so you can observe the Wraith camp through a drone.
Observe the camp gate and perimeter
You will then be flying through the camp on a drone that moves automatically. You can use this as an opportunity to scan the various locations around the camp. You will be prompted to scan the tire tracks leading in and the truck, but otherwise you can look at as much or as little as you want.
Talk with Panam and Mitch
Follow Panam and Mitch over near the van, then accept the stim from Mitch.
When you have the option with Panam, choose:
- “Yeah, ‘course.”
This will make you go with Panam directly.
Head to the Raffen Shiv camp
Panam gets you to drive, and you have an objective marked for the wraith camp that you should drive to.
Note that you can outright fail this Job chain here. If you drive elsewhere and not towards the camp Panam will boot you out of the vehicle. You will then get the camp location marked on your map, and you have 24 in-game hours to go there or you also outright fail this Job chain.
Get inside the camp
When you reach the location, your next goal is to get inside the camp.
There are multiple ways you can get in, depending on what you want to do. No specific options matters for the Panam romance or how this Job plays out (aside from level of combat) so it’s entirely up to you. You can go straight through the middle shooting everyone in your path, sneak around the side of the area, or go through the drainage pipe to the right of the camp walls if you have high enough TECHNICAL ABILITY.
Go to the main building
If you go through the drainage pipe you end up right in the room you need to be in, so these objectives are just if you go through the camp itself. The main building is the larger one, and you need to go inside to then go to the lower floor.
You can go directly in the front if you want, or go through the smaller building and the suspended hallway to the top floor.
Free Saul
Once you reach the main building you will need to find where Saul is. To get to him find the stairs going down to the basement level.
Kill the enemies in the next room, then go through the next doors to find Saul.
You will need to give him the stim to wake him up so you can escape the building.
Leave the building
With Saul in tow you now need to get back out of the building. If you didn’t come in through the drainage pipe but have 9 TECHNICAL ABILITY you can now go through there to get out, if not you have to fight your way back up through the building and outside the camp.
Get in the back of the van
Once you are outside the camp Panam will be waiting with the van.
Defend against the attackers
You will be being chased by enemies in cars and need to shoot at the out of the back of the van. This section is largely scripted, so don’t worry too much if you aren’t hitting the enemies, just aim directly for the cars.
Follow Saul
After you escape the pursuers you will stop at an abandoned house. Follow Panam and Saul inside.
Restore power to the farm
After some dialogue Panam asks you to help restore power to the building. Go into the other room and interact with the yellow panel on the wall.
Use the external power
Turning the power on isn’t enough to get the heat running, so Panam asks you to go outside to check the external power to get the heat running. Interact with the panel outside then go back into the building.
Sit on the couch
When back inside, wait for the interaction to appear then sit on the couch with Panam.
IMPORTANT: All dialogue after this point is important to the Panam romance. You must be playing a male bodytype V for this romance.
- “Shitty idea, Panam’s right” > Timed choice (important to show your loyalty to her)
- “STREETKID: ‘Bout freedom? Quite a bit, actually.” > Not actually important, but if you are playing as STREETKID lifepath this is the better option.
- “[Raise a toast] To haboobs.”
- “And? This any better?”
- “Pleased with your stay, ma’am?” > Timed choice
- “You’d be more comfortable with your shoes off, ma’am.”
- “[Touch Panam’s thigh] Got a few ideas.”
After this Panam and V both fall asleep.
Talk with Panam
After waking up, go outside the building and speak with Panam. Follow her over to her bike, then grab the Overwatch Unique sniper rifle form where it’s leaning on the second bike behind her.
Then go back and talk to Panam again. When you have the option, select the dialogue:
- “[Stop Panam] Wait. About last night…” > Timed choice, shows your interest in her again
This finishes Riders on the Storm side quest job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). Now you can play Panam’s 2nd side job “With a Little Help From My Friends“.

Brilliant invaluable guides. I’ve recently encountered a problem with this quest. I’ve previously completed it twice before without knowing or being able to access the drainage pipe but when I’ve since tried to rescue Saul via the drainage pipe, it won’t let me revive him and Panam no longer talks. Does it still allow you to rescue him via the drainage pipe or is it a bug or something because whenever I try that route it won’t let me apply the thing to revive Saul? ?

I was unable to revive Sail via the pipe but was able to leave quickly via the drainage pipe for some reason, is it required to find the info on Saul first? Or perhaps it was a bug or something? Nevertheless, appreciate the very helpful walkthroughs on this game and others. Despite the glitches, bugs and crashes, I enjoy playing this game a lot, mostly for the story, exploration and the missions.

The bug with being unable to leave via the pipe can be worked around by taking Saul to the top of the stairs (inside) first. That will change the mission goal to be “Get to the van” and you can then go straight out the pipe.

I cannot seem to reach the farm, after shooting at the vehicles when i reach a certain point, even though my health bar is full it just goes to 0 then i die,
Jay says
You have to just keep shooting at the closest vehicle behind your van. Use a more powerful gun than the crappy pistol they start you with. I had the same problem until I switched to a rifle and kept shooting at the cars as fast as I could. It works.

Interesting update: If you kill all of the enemies at the enemy camp, then there is nobody left to chase you in the van when you escape, and it removes that sequence in the mission.
