  • Get up onto the roof.
  • Speak to Songbird.
  • Go to the crash site.

Starting Location: Anywhere

Regardless to your location, once you have loaded the game with the Phantom Liberty purchased you will automatically receive a call from Songbird.

Talk to the Mystery Caller

Once you start your game and receive the phone call from Songbird you will instantly have dialogue options:

  • OK, Got my attention.
  • This a prank?
  • Fine. Willing to risk it.
  • Nah, not convinced.

Go to the Dogtown Border

Once off the phone with Songbird follow  the marker on the mini-map and make your way to the Dogtown border in Pacifica:

Once at the marker head into the border:

Look for Songbird

Once at the border head straight ahead and follow the path to the right. You will enter a cutscene and Songbird will make herself present to you and open up a line of dialogue:

  • [Stand] Don’t know shit. > all three options have same outcome
  • [Stand] The hell you doin’ to me?!
  • [Stand] Sure hope so.
  • [Touch Songbird] You look like a construct…
  • Who the hell are you?
  • Guessin’ you’re a netrunner > requires Intelligence
  • How do I help? > both options have same outcome
  • This is some heavy shit.
    • Plane – you can’t “unhack” it? > Optional
    • You really with the president? > Optional
  • Nothing’s free, including my help.
  • Mentioned you could help me.
    • Expectin’ any company at the landing site? > Optional
  • [Stand] Would love to believe you. > both options have same outcome
  • [Stand] How do I know I can trust you?
  • NEW PERK TREE UNLOCKED – RELIC SKILLS (+3 RELIC POINTS)
  • Thanks. > all three options have same outcome
  • Feel my fingertips tingling.
  • Decent soft! > requires Intelligence
  • Lead the way > both options have same outcome
  • Don’t make me regret this.

During the last portion of the conversation Songbird will continue walking down the alley, follow her while continuing the conversation.

Find the entrance to the old parking garage

Continue down the alleyway just ahead and you will see a gate to the left past a dumpster.

Enter the restricted area

Head forward to the gate and use the action button to open the door. Head straight in.

Go to the garage

This area is hostile so be careful of the enemies in here. Crouch and keep an eye on the minimap in the corner to check the field of vision of the hostile enemies. Move forward and try to sneak past all of the enemies or you can run straight to the garage door behind the enemy with the green shirt in the distance and enter the garage while the enemies are trying to shoot at you:

Go to the underground garage

Head forward and enter the room in the corner ahead of you on the right by crouching and walking through the broken portion of wall. Once inside you will get a prompt to move the sheet of metal:

Find an access point

Once your character hops down into the floor below you will be looking directly at the room you need to head into. Drop down off the left and onto the floor below and head up the stairs into the room. Head straight down the path until you come to a power device:

Look at the computer pad on the left side of the machine and use the action button to turn on the computer. Once turned on head back toward the door you used to enter the room and look to the left and you will see an access point to jack into:

Get onto the elevator platform

Head back outside and get on the platform that Songbird is on.

Ride on the platform

Simply ride the platform and converse with Songbird until the elevator comes to a stop

Reach the car elevator platform

Once you step off the platform onto the next one Songbird will initiate another dialogue:

  • Pure Ambition. > all three options have same outcome
  • For a friend.
  • Don’t wanna talk about it.

Head straight down the path until you get to the car half hanging off an edge and it will turn on its lights. Hop down into the lower section it is lighting. Follow the lights ahead up the ramp. At the top of the ramp use the beam on the car to the right to help reach the platform ahead and head straight past the sparking machine.

Get onto the elevator platform

Head straight across the platforms to the elevator ahead on the right that just lowered itself to you.

Reach the catwalk

Once the door ahead opens head forward. Once you drop down head forward using the lights as a path to guide you. While waiting for a platform you will get another dialogue option:

  • Ah, didn’t hit it off with Johnny, did you? > both options have same outcome
  • You get used to it.

Head across the platform and use the car ahead to climb to a level higher. Continue following the lighted path ahead until you almost fall on a platform where Songbird tells you the president wishes you the best of luck:

  • Tell her I said hello. > both options have same outcome
  • How’s she doin’?

Continue forward jumping from platform to platform to the other side and follow the lights forward until you reach the part where there is a fairly large gap to jump up to. Jump up and onto the platform ahead and head to the left and follow the path straight until you get to Songbird.

Talk to Songbird

Songbird will continue speaking to you:

  • Hear a faint buzz. > both options have same outcome
  • That was you?! > Requires Intelligence

Make your way to Dogtown through the garage

Continue through the tunnels following the marker and climb the ladder to reach the platform above ahead. Go through the door that opens for you. When you get into the next room Songbird will tell you to be careful as there is a patrolling bunch on the platform ahead looking for you.

Eliminate the enemies

If caught by the enemies you will have to take the 3 of them out. Once you have taken out all 3 your original quest resumes.

Enter the elevator

Proceed down the hall and the elevator will be at the end of the hall on the right. Once inside it will activate automatically.

Go to the Black Market

Leave the elevator and head down the hall heading through the bead door on the left. Head up the stairs and through the machine parts ahead to be in the Black Market, this is a safe zone.

Go to the construction site

Once through the machine parts follow the path on the mini-map to the construction site ahead.

Talk to Songbird

Head up and outside out of the Black Market and you will be greeted by Songbird who you can speak to.

  • Clock’s tickin’. But I ain’t givin’ up. > all three options have same outcome
  • Bad enough for me to take this gig.
  • Don’t worry, gonna help you before I crook.

Once you speak to her you can continue to the construction site.

Go to the construction site

Continue down the path and back inside and follow the path to the end where the marker is. At the end of the path is a green door. Head through the door and up the stairs ahead.

Get up onto the roof

Head out and up the path on the left and you will be told to take an elevator that doesn’t quite work.

Reset the power

Songbird tells you to try resetting the generator which is to your left:

Head up to the panel and you will have 2 options:

  • [Repair] Tech can’t handle your hacks.
  • [Repair] Relax, it’s old shit.

Either choice will restore power.

Get up onto the roof

Hop in the elevator Songbird lowered for you and ride it up by choosing ‘Roof’:

You will be presented with 2 dialogue options on the way up:

  • Braced to land? > both options have same outcome
  • How’s Myers?

Once at the top head out and make your way up the path ahead making your way up and around. At the top you will see Songbird.

Speak to Songbird

Once you get to the top you will be introduced to another dialogue:

  • [Timed] How’s the sitch?  > both options have same outcome
  • [Timed] What now?

Once the dialogue is over you will witness a crash.

Go to the crash site

Head straight to the marker ahead and head down the trash chute. Once at the bottom of the chute you will have completed this quest and the next quest Hole in the Sky will be available.

This finishes Main Job 1: Dog Eat Dog.

Next: Main Job 2 – Hole In The Sky
