Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC Walkthrough

September 25, 2023 by PowerPyx 2 Comments

This Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC Walkthrough contains all new main missions, side jobs, gigs, and other content that was added through the Phantom Liberty expansion.

For Main Game Walkthrough refer to Cyberpunk 2077 (Main Game) Walkthrough.

Phantom Liberty is a paid DLC expansion releasing alongside Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 2.0. It adds a new storyline and a new district called “Dogtown” that contains side jobs, gigs and collectibles. There are also 5 endings that cancel out each other but you can keep a Manual Save in Main Job 10: Firestarter as that’s where the ending path is decided. 95% of decisions don’t matter, anything leading up to Main Job 10: Firestarter is irrelevant for endings and trophies/achievements. After this only the last handful of choices before the endings matter. Other choices have no lasting impact. The walkthrough will point out when to make a Manual Save and when to reload it to get all Endings in one playthrough. The DLC supports 20 Manual Save Slots, allowing you to keep a save after every main job to go back everywhere. There is still free-roam after the story, all gigs and collectibles are still available after the story. However, some side jobs are timed and can be failed if not done immediately, so it’s best to do those as they appear (side jobs are not needed for trophies / achievements).

A story playthrough of just the Phantom Liberty DLC takes around 10 hours. To get the remaining endings with save reloads takes another 3-4 hours. A few more hours for all gigs, side jobs and collectibles. In total you are looking at 20 hours to complete everything the DLC has to offer.

To start the DLC there are two ways: if you have an existing save file where you completed the story, simply continue and wait for a call that starts the first job “Dog Eat Dog”. If you don’t have an existing save, simply click “New Game” in the main menu and select Phantom Liberty from there. It lets you jump right into the DLC without having ever played the main game before.

Phantom Liberty DLC – Main Jobs

  1. Dog Eat Dog
  2. Hole in the Sky
  3. Spider and the Fly
  4. Lucretia My Reflection
  5. The Damned
  6. Get It Together
  7. You Know My Name
  8. Birds with Broken Wings
  9. I’ve Seen That Face Before
  10. Firestarter
  11. The Killing Moon –> Ending Path 1: only if sided with Songbird in Job 10: Firestarter
  12. Run This Town
  13. Through Pain to Heaven –> only if sided with Reed in Job 11: The Killing Moon
  14. Who Wants to Live Forever
  15. Things Done Changed
  16. Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos –> Ending Path 2: only if sided with Reed in Job 10: Firestarter
  17. Somewhat Damaged
  18. Leave In Silence
  19. Four Score and Seven

Phantom Liberty DLC – Side Jobs

  1. Baby Let Me Take You –> via call from El Capitan after having stolen several vehicles for him from the “Mysterious Signal” map marker (for me it started after 8 stolen vehicles)
  2. Dazed and Confused –> started from a Phone Message from Mr. Hands after Main Job 7: You Know My Name
  3. Dirty Second Hands –> unlocks during “Main Job 16: Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos”, during objective “Read Reed’s Message”. Only available if in “Mission 10: Firestarter” you chose the bottom dialogue choice “Help Reed Capture Songbird” (Icebreaker: Armed). Then you get this side job to pay Mr. Hands a fee to get your gear back that was taken from you.
  4. Balls To The Wall –> available after dialogue with Reed and Myers during Main Job 4: Lucretia My Reflection
  5. Hi Ho Silver Lining –> starts via call from Mr. Hands after doing all Gigs in Dogtown
  6. Just Another Story –> infinitely repeatable, triggers whenever you steal another vehicle for El Capitan from the “Mysterious Signal” map markers
  7. Money For Nothing –> starts when you spare Ana in Gig: Spy in the Jungle
  8. Moving Heat –> triggered during “Main Job 14: Who Wants to Live Forever”, after going to balcony Point of No Return and walking back
  9. New Person, Same Old Mistakes –> triggered during “Main Job 14: Who Wants to Live Forever”, after going to balcony Point of No Return and walking back
  10. No Easy Way Out –> starts when you spare Ana in Gig: Spy in the Jungle
  11. Push It to the Limit –> after stealing one vehicle from a “Mysterious Signal” map marker
  12. Shot By Both Sides –> triggered during “Main Job 14: Who Wants to Live Forever”, after going to balcony Point of No Return and walking back

Phantom Liberty DLC – Gigs

Note: The Map Counter for Mr. Hands will show 10 Gigs but there are only 9 in Dogtown. One of them is an old base game gig from Pacifica district called “Two Wrongs Makes Us Right“.

  1. Dogtown Saints
  2. Treating Symptoms
  3. Waiting for Dodger
  4. Prototype in the Scraper
  5. The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman
  6. Talent Academy
  7. Spy in the Jungle
  8. Heaviest of Hearts
  9. Roads to Redemption

Collectibles

  1.  3 Increased Criminal Activities
  2.  9 Restricted Data Terminals
  3.  Mysterious Signals

Hello, powerpyx. I have a question about the trophy named Dirty Deeds – Complete every Gig in Dogtown.

Now I’ve done 7 gigs in Phantom Liberty, but ‘8. Heaviest of Hearts’ and ‘9. Roads to Redemption’ are not showing up. Currently, my next main job is ’10. Firestarter’. Do I have to complete all main jobs and watch the ending credits to get rest 2 of them?

They unlock gradually from story progress. I did them all after the story (apart from the 3 gigs that are forced during story).
